Re: Roadtrip across the pond

I’ve done Route 66 and Pacific coast highway, but rented a Camaro SS there, doing it in a muscle car does add to the Americana of it all. I have however looked into doing this with the motorbike, albeit a while ago now, but planned to ship it over for a month then back. There are several companies w...

Re: Als RS6

Thanks guys, happy how it’s looking, the dechrome certainly made a big difference That’s good to know, I had seen a few people mention that it was a bumper off job for the rings. Yes air suspension, I may very well down the line end up on aftermarket bags so might look into the cheap and easy option...

Re: Als RS6

Cars ready for pick up now after having tints, dechrome and some Ispiri wheels. Few little things to add when it’s picked up, black Center caps, black rings, rear wiper delete and some carbon wing mirrors. How easy is it to get rings and RS6 off the front? Needs to be lowered, seen the Cete module m...

Re: Getting PPF fitted in Scotland

Good to know. What did you have done to the GTR? Callum wrapped the rear quarter grey then the remainder of the car in matte PPF with some gloss highlights. Been pack a few times to get the ceramic treatment and top up. This was when it was first done with the PPF... D580EB1F-6CD1-4213-B635-3FC6299...

Re: Als RS6 Build Thread

My M3 was the same, just didn’t get used. I know where you are, been a couple of times. The past couple of years I’ve been saying I want to go to a Bdc weekend but still never got round to it. I would love to go to Gatebil too but I would imagine it’s fairly pricey and the woman wouldn’t be too kee...

Re: Als RS6 Build Thread

Sounds great, I had a driving experience and I chose a Gtr, although it was standard, it was nothing like I have ever driven. I had an E46, my build thread is in my signature. Your E36 will be slot of fun, where do you go drifting? Are you big into it or just a hobby? Cheers  They are great...

Re: Als RS6 Build Thread

Finished going through your build Mike, had a look at the Raywell mirror caps you mentioned, so ordered some of them. A quick google and they look like pretty easy job I think

Re: Als RS6 Build Thread

From looking at your Datsun I can see you like a little carbon. What bits did you want for the RS6 that Carbon Desingz don' already do? They offer most bits of hard plastic with a carbon skin. Neidfaktor in Germany offer a similar selection as well as retrimmed interior parts. However, their websit...

Als RS6

So just done a deal and swapped the GTR for a 2016 RS6, had the GTR for past 4 years, but family and life require a more suitable car and managed to convince the wife the RS6 was it. I've spent most of that time modifying the GTR (Just a few photos to photo whore it up) and think the RS6 will probab...
