Squealing Brakes Under Light Braking
So I successfully managed to replace the rear pads myself using the Carista app to back off the handbrake, I followed the Audi replacement instructions to the letter and I also installed Brembo pads. Under light braking eg. Driving around town, I am getting this frustrating faint squeal... that is d...

Re: Head Light Washer Leak?
So I’ve had another look at this and it is exactly as Sammyb says the left hand jet nozzle of the right hand washer is constantly weeping fluid. I have a boroscope, which I have put inside the flap and the leak path is onto a shelf beneath the washer jet when it is stowed away, which then exits thro...

Re: Head Light Washer Leak?
Thanks Sammyb349, looks like we might be in the same situation, as I am told by Audi that this is the 2nd drivers side washer that’s been installed under warranty... the first being done by the previous owner, the second by myself. How very bizarre. It’s like it is some sort of seepage that only com...

Head Light Washer Leak?
Wondering if anyone else experiences this... Sporadically I will find a puddle under the car in the morning, which is definitely washer fluid. I can only assume it is coming from the head light washer assembly due to is position and ‘leak’ path. The car has been back to Audi twice now for this, wher...

Re: Newbie RS4 2015
I too have found that the RS4 appears to engine brake a lot, like it has a lot of rolling resistance over other cars I’ve owned... I think this is just a trait of the V8 and Torsen system. I’ve just changed the discs and pads and it has changed the feel of the breaking, it felt spongy before however...

Re: Pano Roof Query
Thanks for all the advice, I’ll stop trying to understand it and get used to the quirk!
I tend to leave the key in the car now whilst washing, so that I can keep the mirrors in their tilted down wash position!

Pano Roof Query
A query for the knowledgable RS4 owners of this forum: Do any of those with the pano sun roof option find the pano sun visor to be shut on its own accord when getting into the car? I have witnessed this on a couple of occasions now. Two of which I think I can explain however one remains a mystery......

Re: Rear End Slip!?
I assume you know the difference between the all wheel drive systems on the rs3 and rs4? Just in case you don't; the rs3 uses the haldex system which sends all the power to the front wheels until one of them loses grip then redirects power. Essentially it behaves similar to a front wheel drive car ...

Re: Rear End Slip!?
Do you have the car in dynamic or the sports diff set to dynamic? I have P Zero's on mine, not the best for these cars I'm told but mine does the same if the sports diff is set to dynamic, which makes the car really good fun, you will get used to the way it handles, they have torque vectoring to ea...

Rear End Slip!?
Hi All, Posting this at risk of sounding rather silly, but I am hoping a more experienced owner can share their thoughts and experience... I have recently taken ownership of RS4 B8 with Sports Package etc etc. and having owned / regularly driven a couple of 'Quattro' (S3, RS3) cars previously, I am ...
