Re: 2003 RS6 Build thread

Nice. Just a note, but if you're going to take the exhaust manifolds off of the RS6, be sure to check the flanges to see if they're warped. I had to have mine resurfaced at 105k

Re: Can't find this part

I had these codes along with a few others when my fan was running at all times. I replaced the coolant temp sensor and all of them went away. Might be something to look at after you diagnose your module and fan to be in good working order.

Re: RS6 Turbo Refurbishment

I replaced my CHRAs with these units - https://www.turborebuild.co.uk/webshop/prod_5481805-Audi-RS6-HYBRID-Turbo-CHRA-Cartridge-KKK-K04-53049700028-53049700029-Turbocharger-Core.html . I've got a copy of a letter from Audi UK stating the timing belt interval is 57k or 4 years whichever sooner.

/Not that I'd necessarily but a lot of stock in what they say.
Can you post the letter?

Thanks, but I'm looking for proof that Audi changed the belt interval to 60k miles. Would be nice if true.

Re: Let's talk timing belts

The belt change interval was 40,000 initially and was then upped by Audi to 60,000 miles. I wouldn't mess with an alternative personally Do you have a source for that info? TSB or the like? Thanks There’s a sticky on here for it all Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Where? It is not in the sticky ...

Re: What a way to start off the year!

Nice car! There were 1,435 RS6s sold in the US and 431 had Daytona Gray. Those are the official numbers from Audi when I asked them a few months ago. Bit random... 7 months as a forum member and that's your first post? :? "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all d...
