They are well built cars and with regular maint it should offer you a worry free motoring.

I'd like to know where you get your insurance if your road tax is double that, Mine aren't that far apart. One i find hard to swallow is that road tax is double the cost of fully comp insurance. Either way, I've seen few at 100k mark and wonder what are they (truly) worth? Prices seem to be all over the place now.

I don't miss those days ... hopefully it will be back on the rd soon.

I've been contemplating on an idea of buying (yet another another) C6.

Running costs are really high (fuel, tax, maintenance)... just wonder if they are worth a punt considering they are well over 10y old now with possible huge bills ahead .

TPS would be your start point followed by ECP/CP4L for consumables such as pads/brakes etc.

Is it 'slow' to start?

If so it may be linked to an alternator that is slow charging.
