Re: Lower Front Bumper Air Grill
The garage has managed to fabricate a bracket for headlight, so has passed mot with no advisories, not ideal but best I can do. Thanks for everyone's help.

Re: Lower Front Bumper Air Grill
I'm still scratching my head as to where my headlight or refund has got to, I spoke to Steve over two months back when I first parted with money, he sounded a dead nice guy, but he's not so chatty now and I'm without the headlight, and I'm £250 out of pocket. Must be me o suppose.

Re: Lower Front Bumper Air Grill
Thanks shop, fingers crossed. Quick question for you if you don't mind, I'm getting -6 & -5 on channel 93, would this indicate chain stretch, belt stretch (belt has done 10,000 over two years engine has covered 75,000) or poor workmanship?

Re: Lower Front Bumper Air Grill
Thanks mark (if message was meant for me). My car is still at local VAG/MOT center after failing on unstable headlight, top fixings are fine but bottom two are broke, the boys at the garage think they can get repair kit but I'm not so sure, I've owned car for three years and only noticed when I repl...

Re: Lower Front Bumper Air Grill
I would be very careful buying parts from Steve green, I paid £250 for a headlight two months back, still no headlight no refund and no tracking numbers, but loads of excuses, I've now got the hassle of trying to get my money back through trading standards etc.

Re: £1000 discs!?
I changed all for discs for Zimmerman.
I used winparts, very reasonable, good service, took a little time to get here, but worth it for the price. I used them for rear calipers as well.

Torque setting
Can anyone tell me what the correct torque setting is for the engine oil sump bolts. Also what would you guys suggest in regards to gasket/sealant? Any pitfalls to doing the job, it's just that I've had a nagging weep, and as I'm changing intercoolers at the moment it seams like a good opportunity w...

Low maf
Hello everyone, have been getting low maf reading from bank one, with the help of local garage we rigged up a smoke test using some plumbing hardware (thanks gmac78) and found large leak on offside intercooler, I was not surprised as I'd done a temporary fix on both coolers a year or so ago. I've de...

Re: Help
Collected car today from RCMR in yeovil, owner explained that after gaining access to interior relay/distribution panel, found no 12v supply to interior of car. Load tested power cable to find high resistance. Found previous poor repair near to interior fuse under bonnet, partially removed cable and...

Re: Headliner re trim
My headlining needs attention, as its sagging everywhere (avant) I was quoted £450+vat) that's with new material. The actual material is in really good condition, but I was told it would have to be replaced as it was stretched. If the foam is knackered, do you have to buy new from dealers? Thanks fo...
