Yeah reg was SP06HMH. The car was a write off, after a lenghty back and forth with insurance managed to get back all my money minus the excess. Obviously my insurance prices have now risen by quite a bit too !

Only just been able to revisit this topic after all that happened. I ended up having to claim on my insurance, one of the worst things that has happened to me but you live and you learn. I will always be far more careful when buying now !

have had legal advice, after rejecting a car, there needs to be proof of the fault. An independent assessor therefore needs to inspect the car and report on what has happened in order for it to move further.
