Re: New RS6 owner!
Mines been doing the PRNDS thing for ages with the same fault code. It's very random and sometimes takes several restarts to clear, then it wont do it for weeks. I'm going to try a new wiring loom in the box when I get a chance. Just got home done 230 miles and the car was faultless! Half the time ...

Re: New RS6 owner!
I have fitted a ground loop isolator to the headunit to see if that gets rid of the engine noise. I have also learnt that the original Bose system is 2ohm and I have fitted 4ohm speakers which might explain why they sound bad. I think the dated Bose system of going to have to go and be replaced with...

Re: New RS6 owner!
Car has had some TLC the last couple weeks, service, new air pressure sensor and aircon re charge, 2 rear wheel bearings and new tyres going on this week. Some time ago I replaced the headunit with a pioneer one, the original Bose speakers have always been really bad so I suspected they had blown so...

Re: Slight misfire
High pressure sensor problem = no AC. Common problem. Easy fix. Been waiting over a month now for my local garage to get me a new pressure switch but it still hasn’t dispatched apparently. I have found one on euro car parts and it says it’s compatible with my car. Would somebody mind having a look ...

I can’t justify spending that much, I might try the Airtech ones instead.Shoppinit wrote:The oem won’t be cheaper than the Wagner and probably not available anyway. Plus they are <beep>.

Re: Slight misfire
Haven’t had a lot of time lately to work on my car but now the weather is slightly improving I’m trying to get everything sorted before the summer comes. I took the car to my local garage yesterday and asked them to smoke test the boost pipes and it turns out that both my intercoolers are badly leak...

Re: Slight misfire
Would these faults explain why my fans wind up straight away on a cold start?

Re: New RS6 owner!
It’s off, two metal pipe either side next to maf off and a water hose underneath needed to come off and the inlet lifted. I’m happy to confirm that it is the servo pump/valve and it has split apart like a lot of other’s have. I am also going to replace the 12v water pump because mine looks like it h...

Re: New RS6 owner!

Ok I have made good progress but I am now stuck and can’t figure out how to separate the intake from the maf bracket. There are studs in the intake so I can’t slide it away, it has to left directly up.

Silicone hoses ordered
New vac pump (valve) ordered
Is there a sticky on here with the torque settings? Mainly for the manifold.

Thank you. I have already watched this but it’s a newer model to mine, I’m assuming there isn’t much difference between the two?bilko1 wrote:This should help https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9iZL6iCyqgM couldn't find the C5 one but search through the videos and you will find lots of helpful ones.
