Re: Exhaust flexi replacement
Thanks for this. That’s well worth knowing. I wouldn’t be surprised if we end up going down a similar route here. Certainly sounds more affordable! Cheers

Re: Exhaust flexi replacement
Thanks for that - comprehensive and useful. Should be helpful, I see what you mean. At this stage I'm not sure how big a problem it is, as yet, since it didn't fail its MOT and described as leaking slightly. Having said that it's not something that's going to go away and can only get worse. I'll let...

Exhaust flexi replacement
Hi - has anyone had any experience of needing an exhaust flexi replaced? Does an OEM supplier exist? I bought my RS4 in 2017 and it's been a good experience apart from a new battery and eventually changing the mini coils for a set of R8 coils it's been hassle free. I've no wish to sell it. However r...

Re: RS4 B7 residual values
Hi - thanks for your input and apologies for not replying. I don’t use the forum often and hadn’t noticed your reply. Couldn’t agree more. Same problem. I bought mine in 2017 on 31k mls thinking I’d best get one before the best ones go. Hadn’t considered selling it now and picking up a mint one but ...

Re: RS4 B7 residual values
Agreed. Me too - 2017. See it as a keeper but would be nice to see the prices climbing back up.

RS4 B7 residual values
Happy New Year all - Am I wrong or are values on an increasingly downward spiral? It concerns me although I can see no point in selling. My best guess is that values for the good ones will start rising again when the cars pass the 20 yr mark from 2027 onwards. Unless the world has gone completely el...

Yes - the TG one was the one. There’s also one on The Grand Tour. I think it’s the first episode of the most recent series. They do The Arctic Circle. Another great endorsement by Clarkson!

Re: Going the distance/high mileage/proper keeper.
Yep - they certainly do get under your skin. Same intentions with mine. 2007 black saloon. Bought it on 31k in 2016. 46k now. Apart from weekly golf run I try to do one long trip a year, plus North Wales and Isle of Man trips. Best car I’ve had (although I miss my old R32) and it runs superbly. Look...

Re: Which coil packs ?
Guessing this is resolved. I've had various coils replaced over last 3 or 4 years. In the end I had all 8 replaced at last service with an R8 upgrade coil set in June last year. Has run perfectly since then. Cost for the set £211 + VAT.
Regards.

Re: Anyone come from a MK5 R32?
Hi - keep your R32 as well as the RS4. Different but great cars both of them. I kept mine for 12 months then sold it for more than I was offered initially but wish I'd kept it. Check my thread back in 2019 in response to a similar question. Mine and others.
Enjoy - both

Re: RNSE - AMI retrofit
Hi - does anyone know of a new SatNav/MMI system that can replace the RNSE but retain the drivers display, retains use of the BOSE and the integrated microphone? Not keen to lose those but keen to move the system forward.
Many thanks

Re: In the future...
Interesting. We see other marques now offering manufacturer rebuilds back to as new. Would have thought there was similar mileage/prestige in this for Audi with the RS line as there is for Jaguar, Porsche etc, even Peugeot. My B7 is for keeps so I certainly hope a solution is found. Triumph Stag Own...

Hi chaps, and ladies,
Does anyone know of an after market head unit which retains the drivers display function? Would like to upgrade but reluctant to lose this.
Cheers

Re: R32 to RS4... but B7 or B8?
Well it's simple really - go for the B7 once you're sure you've found a good one. B8 has lots of newer "goodies" but it just ain't the real deal. I bought a low mileage 2007 B7 Saloon 2 years ago, having had a 2006 Mk5 R32 for 10 years. I bought the RS4 but kept the R32 "just in case" I'd bought a p...
