Yeah and in this scenario with the prop shaft, the car has only been mapped for 1 week, could the extra strain really accelerate wear on the prop shaft so drastically in one week?
Hard to know for sure...

Re: Booked in for MRC remap
This sounds expensive.... Assume there is no chance of warranty either now due to the map? Did you not consider getting MRC to put the ECU back to how it was pre mapping? I heard they have a way of removing the map and any associated flags, although I'd be interested to find out if anybody has actua...

Cheers guys
No the Fezza was black! Always had a thing for them in black for some reason, I know a lot of people think it's sacrilege!

New member with some pics
Hi all, Thought I'd introduce myself properly and get some pictures up, I'm Adam and I've had the car for around a month now. I've already got some great insight from this forum in the short time I've had my RS6. I've come from a 2016 R8 V10+ and prior to that had various cars including an F430 and ...

Yeah it seems to be fine in a straight line now with the screw removed, it is only catching now with the wheels turned it seems. Particularly in the place shown in your picture.
I'll give it a go with the spacers removed tomorrow I think and see how I get on

Re: Any pics of cars lowered with H&R 20mm springs?
That part where it touches on yours is where I bent it out, it's only a slight bend out but that was in one 30 minute test drive, albeit quite a bump in the road I wasn't expecting whilst turning. It made a horrible noise! Mine doesn't touch like yours when stationary though. Does yours hit the arch...

Re: Any pics of cars lowered with H&R 20mm springs?
Ahh yes I see what you mean, they are quite square on the sidewall. I removed the small plastic mushroom screw from the inner arch and that got rid of a lot of the rubbing, unfortunately I continued to test it and went over a bump with a bit of steering angle which managed to bend out my front wheel...

Re: Any pics of cars lowered with H&R 20mm springs?
Mine is actually on Continental Contisport 285/30/21
Not had the car long at all but I bought it approved used from Audi and assumed they were standard OEM tires
It's a December 2015 facelift non PE model

Re: Any pics of cars lowered with H&R 20mm springs?
Yeah mine does seem to rub on the front under hard cornering or if I hit dips in the road... that is with a 10mm spacers. I'm sure I read a few people with exactly this set up that said they got no rubbing. Interested to hear from anyone with the same as me - H&R 20mm springs and 10mm spacers Thanks

Re: Any pics of cars lowered with H&R 20mm springs?
Thanks mate! Looks good on those wheels, suppose they are probably a more aggressive offset than the standard wheels anyway hence no spacers needed.
Will see how I get on with mine and if it scrubs I'll have to lose the spacers

Any pics of cars lowered with H&R 20mm springs?
Hi all Just wondering if anybody has pics of their car lowered with 20mm H&R springs? (And with spacers ideally) I had a search and found one from the front but hard to see clearance. Any issues of scrubbing at all? I know there can be with the 40mm kit. I ask because mine has been lowered with 20mm...

Re: Bye bye RS6
Thanks mate, it was a lovely motor. They are seriously quick too...
I was the same with the colour actually, the blue is a crystal paint and looked awesome in certain lights but red really suits the R8 too so could've gone either way... I now have a Misano Red RS6 to satisfy my urge for red.

Re: Bye bye RS6
I've just gone the other way from an Ara Blue V10+ to an RS6. Fantastic car, huge step up over the old model in my opinion. Incredible to drive... I had mine just over a year but an expanding family means I never got chance to use it so have gone for an RS6 as a fun daily instead. I miss it already ...
