Re: Performance vs. Standard RS6 Actual Differences?
According to the Audi Sport engineering department, the (high level) answers I got indicate that the RS6 Performance is more than a simple remap:
- Reworked cylinder head
- Reworked exhaust valves
- Optimized intercooler
I have not been able to obtain more specifics (yet).

Here is the faulty damper:

Re: Suspension Fault
Got the Suspension System Fault - You can continue driving 3 times in 2 days. 2017 RS6 Performance with DRC, 5000 miles, car is bone stock except for Milltek exhaust plugs. Curious to see whether it is one of the level sensors. First feedback from the dealership: rear left damper fault. Discussions...

Re: RS6 C7 2015 Low revs
Is the occasional hiccup a "feature" of the Performance models ?
I don't recall noticing it when i had a preFL car.

Re: New RS6 Owner - Online Services
I find the ability to send destinations from Google maps staright to the car's online destinations registry well worth it. Online Google search of destinations from satnav can be useful too.

Re: Custom wheel specs
Thanks Zeshark, we've heard your opinion and are ignoring it. In what world is 285 a stretch on a 10.5" width rim? 285 is too wide to fit on a 9.5" rim, it is perfect for a 10.5" rim. And if you actually look at such a combination on the flesh you will see it still offers rim protection. It is not ...

Re: Custom wheel specs
I really don't get it: in what world are 285/30, designed to run and work on 9.5", going to perform as they should with an inch of excess in width ? Not even mentionning the absence of rim protection offered by the tire. It may not rub, it may look good, but i'd be surprised if a tire or chassis eng...

Re: Custom wheel specs
I'd stick with stock dims. This business of "pulling" tires with wider than specified rims is utter nonsense to me, especially with low side walls. You have then entire freedom to play with moderation with spacers and ride height. Rubbing should never be in the cars for a car that price, I'd leave t...

Re: Dynamic package
Never driven a RS6 without it, but I am still impressed by the range of adjustment of DRC, between a Comfort mode which is compliant enough, and a Dynamic mode which is very taut. The range of adjustment is remarquable and well suited to a variety of driving conditions and road surfaces. I am also v...

Re: RS6 wheels suggestions
Did you go to 10.5" by choice or supply constraint ? The Vossen importer in Switzerland tried to sell me on the notion of mounting 10.5" instead of the 9.5" standard fitment for 283/30, saying that it pulls the tires "nicely", but i am no fan of not letting tires work the way they were intended to. ...

RS6 wheels suggestions
So i have a brand new Suzuka Gray RS6 Performance pictured below with the 21" rims assorted to the titanium pack. http://www.asphalte.ch/pic/Audi-RS6-Performance-Suzuka-03.jpg My plan has been to keep these wheels for winter tires and buy a nice set of wheels for summer tires. HRE is first to come t...
