Car sold - warranty transfer sent to new owner - enjoy!

Now sold - gone, but not forgotten.

Gavin - the warranty t&c’s are dependent upon when the warranty was taken out. The crap cover and price is based on new warranties if you go and take a new policy out now. As it happens the renewal came through at around the £900 mark on the existing conditions. No brainier.

It’s not had a map as far as I know at least in mine (1 year) and the last owners ownership.
I’ve not explicitly had the oil seal checked, unless they did this on the health check last November as part of the oil change service - Audi didn’t call anything out though.

Regrettably im putting up the 'loon for sale. She is a beautiful girl and in sound order.

Hope she can go to a good home, only 38k miles on a late 2010 plate. All standard apart from the supersprint exhaust. Pics and stuff here

This is the Audi Extended that you access via Audis site

Audi Extended Warranty is due up for renewal, eyeballing the latest warranty t&c's and it seems to have got worse:
No cover for coolant pipes / corrosion
No cover for inherent 'design faults'
No longer transferable

All for a bargain £1200

Anyone else think it's now not worth it?

Yeah I had 2 x 013 849 3 and 3 x 013 844 4.
Only 5.6L of oil though

Yeah mines June 2010 so 5 drain points I guess. 2.5 days and 3 miles to do the oil change think it's a new record still at least they discounted it to almost acceptable rates

Thanks for the link, so it’s the seals that go with the drain plugs - I would have thought a seal is a seal, unless the c6 rs6 has special gold leaf edging or are hand pressed by Irish leprechauns on the 4th full moon following the seventh passing of a flatulent donkey. That or dealer incompetence. ...

Can anyone tell me if the oil drain plugs are anything special over and above a bog standard A6? Dealer seems to be struggling after 2 days with the car to get the right parts for the oil change. And yes thats right - I did say dealer who had it on the schedule 4 weeks in advance.
