My old man had the same problem a few years back; he also lives in the country. Seemed to only really be a problem when the car was kept in the garage. A few traps around the place definitely helped but he now just keeps the car on the drive and the issue has never arisen again!

Yes and no. I do question my decision to sell every time I drive it. However I know of a sorted B5 that'll be coming up for sale soon that ticks all my boxes; I'll kick myself if I'm not in a position to buy!
