For Sale - 20" Forged Wheels (4G0601025CD)

Tyre size 275/35 ZR20 I'd like £2600 for the wheels fitted with the tyres or £2500 for just the wheels. Please message me and I c...

Re: In need of some buying advice
Hi LRB23 and welcome!! I've seen one car with a lot of options but not DRC. Is the air ride really that bad? Its really hard trying to decide on which one I want. Fingers crossed in early January (my personal deadline I've given myself) I'll have in my hands the keys to an RS6! Hi, My car has air s...

What Brake Pads should I use?
Hello Everyone, I need to get my Front Discs skimmed to resolve the premature warping that I recently posted about. I'm told by the garage that will skim the discs that I'll need a new set of front pads too. Do you agree? There's almost no wear on the existing items btw. If so, what front pads shoul...

Re: Warped Front Discs after 6000 miles and less than a year
An update on my warped discs. I wrote to Audi UK and complained about my warped front discs (fitted in October 2018 by Guildford Audi and having covered just over 6000 miles). Audi UK contacted Guildford Audi and suggested they change them - Audi Guildford refused. Audi UK stated they don't offer an...

Re: Warped Front Discs after 6000 miles and less than a year
It's not easy to warp discs, especially the size of the RS6 ones.
Hi Mike, apologies, I've realised that I've omitted a key piece of information from my last update. Tetbury Audi told me they were warped (N/S 0.4mm and O/S 0.1mm) and so I checked them myself. I borrowed the require...

That's very good and less than the website is quoting me. Did you discus that with them on the phone or was that the quote that the online quote service offered?

Which Extended Warranty would you recommend?
My car comes to the end of the Dealer warranty at the end of January 2020 and I've started to think about whether or not I should have an extended warranty. There are a number of providers, including Audi and I wondered what you all think. Who would you recommend and why? Do you have Extended Warran...

Re: Warped Front Discs after 6000 miles and less than a year
They are not designed to be used at speeds over 75 miles per hour. I will likely get the RS6 discs skimmed in situ on the car and then when the time comes replace them with a non-OEM alternative. Agree. I'm going to send my front discs to BG Developments and have them ground true for £45 + VAT per ...

Re: Warped Front Discs after 6000 miles and less than a year
All, An update so far: 1. Guildford Audi have refused to pay for the replacement of my warped discs due to the following reasons, communicated to me by one of their Service Advisors: - the brakes are wear and tear items and not covered, despite almost no wear, no signs of misuse and having covered j...

Re: Warped Front Discs after 6000 miles and less than a year
Put it this way, I had the very same issue with OE Porsche discs fitted by an independent to my wife’s 997 and they were replaced FOC by Porsche without question. Why should Audi be different when dealer fitted? I agree Mark, I'm hoping that Guildford Audi will also agree and that Tetbury Audi can ...

Hi Lig,
I always connect my iPhone using Bluetooth and have never had an issue. I'll try with the USB - phone cable. Is that the AMI cable?

Re: Warped Front Discs after 6000 miles and less than a year
Tetbury Audi have said they are warped (N/S 0.4mm and O/S 0.1) and that there's a tight spot as the discs are rotated. They also tell me that there's almost no wear on the disc face. The pads are 20% worn. I've done just over 6000 miles and have never cooked the brakes or used them harshly. They hav...
