Have you tired running a thicker grade of oil ? , and I would tend to agree it's usually turbos passing oil or valve stem oil seals ! I'm about To swap to a 5-40 racing oil that offers higher protection and will offer lower levels of friction than a standard 5-30 due to its triple ester compesision...

Hi I can't say I am an expert on this, and the C6 does appear to be quite a reliable lump, however, every Turbo car that I have owned if the smoke is of a blue hue (burning oil) it has nearly always turned out to be the Turbo seals / issues. I run Niche Essen 20 x 10, they are designed for the C7 so I had to use high quality spigots - runs to high speeds with no problems 12672119_10153541176331313_1812507389769676104_o.jpg They look great!
