Winter Alloys and Tyres Genuine Audi 18"
For sale are my winter alloys from my RS6. 2 wheels have curb marks as shown in the picture. If you have never used winter tyres you really should as it is like night and day. “All 4 tyres have 6mm tread. 2 Alloys have curb marks. I would say they are in overall good condition.” These are original A...

Re: 2005 RS6 avant avus silver for sale
Anthracite 19" RS6 plus alloys with very good condition conti's on them. They are currently off the car as it has winters on that I bought last year and intend selling separately.
I thought I had put the detail in the ad so will now edit to make clear.

Re: 18" wheels - no TV
Moved from 19" with summer tyres to 18" with winters. The ride is much nicer as I suspected but it doesn't look right on the 18"'s. I went back to my old ends (I think thats what the youth call it now instead of manor) in Essex Saturday and was glad I didn't see anyone I knew. It would have been a s...

Re: DAB tuners
Just spoke to them. It would seem the best option is the Alpine system. The system they fitted to the A3 on the youtube clip needs the steering wheel radio controls to work. In my car I just have the steering wheel that is used for turning the front wheels......... It will mean that I have the Alpin...

Re: DAB tuners
Thanks, I'll call those chaps. What I didn't like was that he mentioned tuning in the DAB which sounds like you have to tune it to a spare FM frequancy. If that is the case it's no good for me as I live in London and will get interference from all the pirate stations. I'd need it to go into an aux r...

DAB tuners
All - I am looking at getting DAB in my car. In an ideal world I would like to keep the stock system. In the past I have tried units like the pure system where you tune the radio to the DAB receiver but you have to regularly retune which is a pita. I have seen the below which seems ideal: http://www...

Re: RNS-E
Shop your not wrong there. 6m seems like it was made purely for people who love music. It's great listening to old Peel sessions and it also costs me a fortune in adding new music my iPod!
I'll start a new thread on DAB and see what the collective think.

Re: RNS-E
Gents did Audi do one of these with digital radio? And if so does anyone know what I should be looking for? Alternatively is there an after-market solution?
I have become addicted to BBC6 music!

55k so far, must try harder.
And as for people discussing fuel may I remind you:
The first rule of the RS6 club is - We do not talk about fuel economy, the second...well you get the point.

Could be the head tech guy who I am told is a RS6 fan.
Had some work done on mine recently at WLA and it is a very impressive place. I tried to get to the floor with older Audis but it is appointment only apparently as it is Audi group and not part of WLA.

I can recommend these guys. Lot's of guys from 911uk and Pistonheads use them. The owner is a car nut and has a 993 TT. I have interior Leds from them for my 993 and they are bright and it made a huge difference.
