Audi oil shortage?...
Had my car booked in for service and its first MOT at Stafford Audi for over 2 months. So, less than 24 hours before the appointment, they call me to say that there is a shortage of oil for the RS6 and it is on back order from Audi with no forecast delivery date. Bearing in mind that even with 2 mon...

Re: Potential alternator fault
2021 MY, 19,000 miles left me coasting on the M6 last week. Fingers crossed a new alternator arrives today (1 week since Audi ordered it) and I get my car back next week at some point.

Re: Tyres
Pirelli P-Zeros on mine. Now at 15000 miles and down to just about 4mm all round, however thinking about a change as it's starting to behave more like a boat in the slightest bit of standing water!

Re: DRC suspension ride height higher on one side
It's always noticeable on mine after parking and I get out that the driver's side is lower than the passenger side. Probably just the way it sits when there is no passenger, only driver and the suspension does not rebound. I'm no fat b@stard either at 13st...

Re: RS6 performance
I don't understand why they are doing away with genuinely useful functions such as wireless charging and keyless entry and replacing with gimmicks like night vision? Other manufacturers have managed to implement wireless charging without overheating issues, and keyless entry without security implica...

Re: RS6 performance
I note from AHR's new video of the RS7 Performance currently at Oxford Audi that it was running the Hankook tyres. Disappointing.

Re: RS6 Insurance
I went through Flint Insurance Brokers. They can access insurance products that are not available directly to the end user and have been the most competitive for me.

Re: Living with an RS6?
My previous RS6 was on air and you can lift the suspension. Very comfortable on the road, but not the best for very spirited driving on bumpier roads or if you expect it to be absolutely flat through fast corners. It suited me fine though. I took it fishing plenty of times driving across grass field...

Re: Driver Assist ECU Fault
Hi, Does the Driver Assist ECU include functions such as side assist and exit entry warning system, intersection assist and rear cross-traffic assist and audi pre-sense? If so, I think mine might be playing up, because whenever there is even the slightest bit of spray on the road, the dashboard tell...

Re: Tpms sensors
I bought a set of these - a bit cheaper and a UK seller. Had no problems with them whatsoever for the 3 years I had the car. I emailed the seller first to check they were correct for me. They are all pre-coded, so shouldn't be any issues. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/371570441790?euid=a337dda8cc8042f2...

Re: Exhaust valve delete
As much as he irritates me, I saw on his YouTube channel that Archie Hamilton had a Kufatec control module fitted to the exhaust valves on his new C8 RS6 by ABT UK. I can't say if it's any good or not - best watch it and make up your own mind. Save yourself the pain of watching all of it and skip to...

Re: Squeaky Brakes
Had the same issue on my C7. Replaced disks and pads under warranty, which solved the issue. My C8 brakes squeak quite often, but I find that a spirited drive and some hard braking get rid of the issue. Soon comes back though.

Re: Car braking by itself
I’ve seen it happening in Efficiency and Auto driving modes. Driver assistance is set to max. It doesn’t bother me too much, I was just surprised it was happening as I hadn’t read about it anywhere.
Glad it’s not just me.
