Labour time for getting the box in and out doesn't bother me as it helps being a mechanic for jaguar and have use of a ramp at work . Just gearbox repair I would be paying for really so hopefully won't sting me too much . Just a pain in the ass as iv already had it out [emoji23]

How much did it set you back for a full rebuild ? I know places will vary in price just for a idea

Yeah that helps a lot man thanks , the clutch pedal was also sticking on mine every so often due to the return pipe being faulty so think it's just caused everything to go pop . Does sound very similar to my fault I'm having just now . Just need to avoid 4th gear for the time being I think

Right , clutch failed and totally fell to bits . Replaced clutch and also slave return pipe for the upgraded one that a guy on here sells and also a new slave cylinder . Now when I'm driving fast it crunches through the selector when only selecting 4th , driving normal it's totally fine and doesn't ...
