Re: Data sim
I only use the data for the nav / traffic functions really - I guess if I was using it for other things like music then the 12gb wouldn't approach a years worth of use. To be frank, I'm undecided on whether Audi's system of forcing the owner to get their own sim is better than BMW / Merc, who provid...

Re: DRC noise under normal operation
Guys, can you tell me how bad this noise is when the DRC isn't work right? My 2015 car has a slight but definite clonking/knocking sound over sharp bumps from the front drivers side. It's not what I'd call loud and tends to do it only over sharper bumps; in fact, it just sounds like noisy suspension...

Re: Data sim
Hi Andrew. I don't think three have as good coverage as EE do they? And is that for 4g or 3g? With my wife and kids all using the cars wifi then 1gb a month os not enough for me. But it is the same cost per gb as mine so if they have as good coverage in 4g then I'll take a look, thanks Probably not...

Re: Data sim
Three is the way to go with these. £30 for 12gb that lasts a year, and if you go abroad, theres no roaming costs in some countries like France and Switzerland (and in others where Three don't cover you with your inclusive content, like I found a couple of weeks ago in Holland and Germany, you just n...

Re: New R8 V10+??
What seat option did you choose? They're not the buckets I presume so guessing they're the sports seats? Are you sure the R8 would pull away from the new 991 Turbo S? Not driven either yet but all the reviews I've seen have the Porsche ahead in all the performance stats. Not by much as both cars ar...

Re: New R8 V10+??
Fantastic first but you still get a FON. Also, clear your garage, it's filthy. That garage! Ha ha, thanks guys. I do have a slight advantage because it's brand new. But it's also not finished yet - it bothers me that I have random furniture down one side so it'll have built in units going...

Re: New R8 V10+??
Hi W8PMC, I recognise you from PH land. I had an M6 a couple of years ago followed by an SLS, AMG GT and now my new R8 V10+. Absolutely love the R8, and I've never typically been an Audi advocate (so all the more ironic I've also gone and bought a late RS4 Avant, just to get my last hit of a reasona...
