Would you sell just the Near side?

Had another day out in our mighty Gti6 at castle Combe yesterday (4th track day), spent £40 on fuel that's 2 drivers beating it round all day, she impressed & shocked so many people.

Still only £700 in (£350 each)

I'm planning on doing SPA on sat 9th April

To be fair she's currently just about perfect, I'm worried the pre cat removal will be to loud, it is after all the family car, the loud bat sh*t crazy machine is my skyline so trying to keep this car a bit more sensible and classy lmao

May as well gut the mains while you are doing it surely? The remap will cost the same but it will make a significant difference to performance and sound. All you will need then is a friendly MOTer. I've got a friendly MOTer but it's more the resale issues I'm thinking of as want to change to the C6...

So I brought off Seaneb on here his Milltek resonated middle section and have had it fitted and paired up with a 3" rear section all done by my friends over at Leadfoot racing @Thruxton using the stock tips. I gotta say I'm pretty happy with it she looks stock but absolutely love the noise :biggrin3...

Thinking of adding some 10mm hub centric spacers all round, is that the best size or is a say 8mm front 10mm rear a better option etc?

Have you got a video of what it sounds like with the straight pipes and resonated centre?

I've always wanted to do this so could be up for this, will need to look into some accommodation quickly.

Well I've now purchased Milltek resonators, so will have matching pipe made up to the stock tail pipes and see how it is.

Once on I'm gonna get the ITG filters and then off down to MRC for a map. Although tempted to beat the Pre cats out before hand tho.

Gotta say while the skyline is crazy fast, the little pug even with its 180bhp is a lot of fun, she handles so well, is very reliable and sooooo cheap to run.
Plus with it low cost to buy if we stick it in a barrier we will just laugh and leave it where it lies
