Re: Correct steering position sensor?
Misunderstood the "multi function" bit. If that is the case that it an "M" one, that's half the price I was going to payfor one, which is awesome.

Sadly not, just the normal 3 spoke one. would be they handy if it was a 4 spoke, with volume controls in easy reach.

Re: Correct steering position sensor?
The clock spring got turned one too many times when I had my new rack fitted so I've got abs, esp and airbag lights, no flappy paddles and sometimes no horn. I've just got the standard rs6 leather wheel. It sounds like AG is the right one, I'll get a m12 spline socket over the weekend and double che...

Correct steering position sensor?
Hello, is J0 959 654AG the correct number I need for the rs6 c5? Trying to find the right answer everywhere and that seems to be the right one but I can't confirm it.
Thanks, Adam

Diveshaft Recomendations
I need to get a n/s/f Shaft for my RS6. Seen loads of them but they are off diesels or other engines. Tried a bloke on ebay to see if he could a rcon one but they were out of stock. Don't really want to go for used, rather have a recon one.
Thanks
Thanks

Re: 18" Alloys
Just remembered what you mean by the soft and hard ones, forgot about the butter ones. Those ones are the genuine B5's but they are in fact the soft ones (Can see 025T)
I'll have a revolutions if they're a decent price. I take it they aren't going to fall apart like cheap alloys?

Re: 18" Alloys
Thanks for the help. Problem with only dealing with Fords/FWD's didn't have to worry about ET's. Glad you guys pointed that out. Should i try to keep to 7.5j-8j to prevent them rubbing the arches? I'll keep looking for those ones then. If Push came to shove, i could get any set and run spacers, to p...

Re: Another Hotchkis ARB convert
Unit 20 did have the price on their site but they've changed their website layout since (was like £550 i think) so it would be great to know where you are getting them from as well.

Re: Steering rack
Looking at it, it's going to need a new rack, but i cant seem to find the correct one for the RS6 (this is the closest on ebay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/261811659809?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT ) Or there are some from eurocarparts but they've got two versions and out ...

Steering rack
The seal on the drivers side of my rack has failed. I've seen the rack is a bit of a sod (the £1000 bolt :audibash: ). As the rack still feels good ( no nochy-ness when driving along) o i was looking at either refurbishing my rack (new seals all round) or buying another but it seems there's like 5 d...

Re: Wheel vibration 50-60mph
Mine turned out to be a mixture of lower control arms (bloke had lost a washer and used an angle grinder locking nut instead causing the ball joints to fail :bash: ) and two tyres were naff (one had a bulge on the tyre wall and the other had been knobbled and had a hole that showed the cords) Now th...

Re: Changing O/S rocker cover gasket
Been reading that you can just slightly bend that black coolant pipe out the way (say slightly as they say that wield you can see is weak) as long as the two bolts holding it onto the block aren't siezed. The oil breather pipe looks like there a rubber section at the back of the block that got a cli...
