Re: Attempted seat theft?

Sorry to hear about your seats - I had the same and they even nicked the gear stick knob. I got an upgraded alarm etc and also had bolts made with a unique fitting - it wasn't that expensive in the scheme of things.

Re: Help needed with starting issue

thanks guys, finally got it back from the garage. It seems like every starting issue is different......Audi were blaming the immobiliser I had fitted, saying that when they isolated it there were no starting problems. Bypassed it for now (with a simple wire) which isolates the immobiliser so lets se...

Help needed with starting issue

Hi Guys, I was hoping someone might know the issue I'm experiencing when trying to start my car. When its cold it always starts perfectly but once its warmed up after a decent drive and I try to start it nothing happens. I will then have to sit there and wait for the car to cool down. I can only fil...

Re: Would you?

I had a B8 but couldn't shake off the B7 RS4 and went back to it. I had those feelings you describe of wondering if I was mad going from a 1 year old car back to the B7 but I can honestly say for me I've never looked back and don't even miss the new tech of the B8. For kids though it's a more delica...

Re: Thinking of buying...what do you think?

Can't believe it that's my old car. Long story short I was living in London and parking it on the street outside my house. One night the front seats, steering wheel and gear knob were stolen. The insurance company insisted it had to be written off plus the wait for new seats was over 6 months. The c...

Re: Back to the RS4

yes never carbon cleaned so it seemed a good result but thats with stage 2. I'm not an expert but on the graph where it shows 407 it seems a bit of a blip? The second run after stage 2 was 400. Anyway it feels good! With the carbon clean I was under the impression that if you had it done and drove t...

Re: Back to the RS4

Hi Guys, its been a long time since my last post but thought I'd share a few updates since almost a year has past. Firstly I'm loving the switch back to the B7 - still smile every time I drive it :D I had a Cat 5 security system installed which has working really well - the fob that you carry with y...

Re: Back to the RS4

Some security additions happening this week (given my last experience) and then maybe a trip to MRC at the end of the year although the engine seems to pulling hard so in no rus...

Back to the RS4

Hi All My first post as I just bought a daytona avant this week and just couldn't stop smiling the whole way home - what an awesome car! Its been a bit of journey to this point.....I had a B7 RS4 from 2010 to 2013 and loved it. I woke up one morning to the now familiar story - window smashed, seats ...
