Re: RS4's and car seats.
Having justified getting the Avant as a family car, I'm now sorting out a car seat for my 9 month old. We've been looking at the options and for us keeping the seat rear facing for as long as possible is a must for the improved safety. Plus, I believe it's a legal requirement of driving on the cont...

Re: Steering wheel off centre...
I use the Hunter system every day.
If the steering wheel isn't straight it's there problem,doubt it's a bush!
It's not easy sitting in the car and locking the wheel straight, the tool to lock it is right where you sit so you cannot sit in the seat and do it.
How far is it out?

It could have been slightly off centre when they locked the steering wheel off doing the alignment, take it back I'm sure they will sort it.

Re: Issue with drivers side rear door
That is the module with the white sticker on next to the electric window motor.
1hr is easily enough time to remove/refit the door panel,Christ if it was an insurance job at the bodyshop where I work it would prob be 15 minutes!!!

It will be ok I'm sure.MikeFish wrote:I think it'll fit, but it might mean the missus is bashing her knees on the glovebox. So you have 3 options:
1. Let her bash her knees
2. Get a different seat
3. Get a shorter missus
3 sounds good though as long as I get to test drive some first

Re: Think I got a good B8 today, sport diff etc
I've got a Leon too and it's more roomy in the back. It's also lifeless and drab. Drive them all and you'll be naturally drawn to one more than the others. If the family don't fit, get them a taxi and meet them there, via the back roads. Lol,it would be more of a daily driver than a b-road...
