Re: Moving on....
hmm cant remember the exact offset, but they were running with 5mm spacers up-front but nothing on the rears. I did have 8mm all round on the OEM alloys before these but the rears were way too far out. hope that helps! side on photo too; https://farm3.staticflickr.com/2870/34019268622_93fb1be003_k.j...

Moving on....
After 2.5 years of ownership I'm moving on from the RS4. Its been an awesome experience and I still love the car, but I have another itch to scratch and cannot justify (or have room to park) a 4th car. Ironically I have spent a lot on the 4 over just the last 4 months (B14's, interior re-firb and pa...

Re: More new owner questions!
re the badge on the engine bay - I simply bought an RS badge off e-bay and stuck it on. Its slightly larger than original but looks good. Been on it a year now no problem (I thought it may come off due to heat etc but its been fine). Cheers, that's my plan. edited my response and added a link.....

Re: More new owner questions!
re the badge on the engine bay - I simply removed the original RS badge and replaced with an RS5 badge I bought off e-bay (11x3cm one) dropped the '5' and stuck the RS bit on. Its very slightly larger than original but looks good. Been on it a year now no problem (I thought it may come off due to he...

Re: B14's and steering noise
Okay so raised it by 5mm and pretty much solved the noise issues. No knocking on acceleration/breaking hard, BUT, still getting a knock on full lock when reversing/pulling out of parking spaces etc. I can just about tolerate it but think next plan is to replace the top mounts (11 years old now so no...

Re: Trups DRL kit - poor quality
I also had a couple of issues when the garage tried to fit the LED's for me. However like jonytek I also found Trups was very responsive (replied within minuted to my PM) and sent through pictures as well as offering to speak to garage directly to sort, which he did. All done and they look great so ...

Pioneer SPH-DA120 - apple car play enabled, inexpensive and looks good and most importantly works really well.

Re: B14's and steering noise
Bet its slammed and if so the B14 don't like to be slammed or maybe the arms don't like it but I had it on mine and then when I raised it a little it went away. Thanks, yes, I think it could well be too low, so will get it lifted tomorrow and check top mounts etc etc. Hopefully that will solve it -...

Re: B14's and steering noise
Don't use full lock :) I have some noises as well when turning at full lock. No big deal ha ha - yup, avoiding that now and could probably 'just' about live with it knowing its the price to pay for having it scraping along the floor. Whats more concerning is the same noise when I brake/accelerate h...

B14's and steering noise
Okay so fitted the B14's but now have a lot of noise on steering i.e. full lock when going into parking spaces and really odd one this, when its warmed up on acceleration/hard breaking. *edit - not steering rack, its definitely sounds like its the suspension wheel area - no knocks or anything in ste...

Re: Anyone painted their grills>
Wicked! It really freshens up the front end. Currently it just looks dull. Is that a satin finish? yes, satin - agree freshens it up and also makes it look a bit more modern. I'm often asked if my car is new/1-2 years old - no-one (unless its the occaisonal car buff) has any clue its 11 years old a...
