Re: RS4 B7 Headlamp Glass
That's correct- not OEM but they look great. I don't think anyone could tell the difference once they are installed.

Re: RS4 B7 Headlamp Glass
Actually, you can purchase a replacement lens from vxtuning (located in USA). I bought a set from vxtuning.com and had my shop install them. They were about $100 US for the pair. There are a couple threads over on audizine about them. I've had them on the car throughout this winter and they are hold...

Re: Clutch problems
it would be cheaper to have it all done in one go than have slave / master cylinder done then go back at a later date to have a new clutch plate and flywheel Exactly. Fortunately in my case, my shop didn't charge me for the master/slave cylinder work. I don't suppose you can remember how much the n...

Re: Clutch problems
My RS4 had been difficult to shift into gear for a few months, but I never got to the point where you had to rev match in order to shift. Are you grinding any gears? My shop first tried to just replace the slave, that didn't work so they then replaced the master, and it shifted even worse. I suspect...

Hmmm... I learn something new everyday. I also misinterpreted "Yanky Lanterns"- I thought you were telling me to yank or pull off the side reflectors.
Yanky lanterns, fried eggs, ok, now I know.

Re: B7 RS4 Picture Thread
Yanky lanterns. I've considered removing them as I agree the car would look better without them, but would need to further research the issue to make sure the car would be able to pass the annual governmental safety inspections without the reflectors. Wheel spacers are also illegal in my particular...

Re: Wanted - RS4 B7
I think they will remain to be strong in all honesty, there's nothing similar with the 4wd, N/A V8, Manual gearbox formula. I hope you are right! Do you just fancy a change then? I've considered selling but there's not really anything under about 35k that I'd prefer to move to. Not really, love min...

Re: *Wanted* OEM B7 RS4 Carbon Fiber Engine Covers
I managed to find an OEM set in excellent condition on Ebay Germany (no yellowing or scratches- look brand new). A bit more expensive that the other sets I was looking at, but the condition was superior. 355 Euros.
Thanks again for all the assistance.

Re: *Wanted* OEM B7 RS4 Carbon Fiber Engine Covers
Thanks TAB1S and CellDamage.
You have been extremely helpful. I will contact the Ebay seller and see if he will ship to the U.S. If not, I will contact you TAB1S.
I am so happy I discovered this forum.

Re: *Wanted* OEM B7 RS4 Carbon Fiber Engine Covers
Many thanks TAB1S. It looks like that ebay seller only ships to the UK. I tried to pm the seller on ebay but got an auto reply that the seller doesn't accept messages... I would be interested in yours. My covers were stolen some time ago and since I've never installed or removed the covers, I am not...
