Re: OEM Brake pads
I keep a set of Delphi OE spec pads (all 8 pads) for an RS6 on the shelf at work. (Parts advisor)
£87.50+vat + 6.50 (+vat) carriage if it would be of any assistance.
PS - B6 RS4 pads are 99.5% identical (and about 20 quid cheaper)
I got a set of them in to compare.

Re: Is this a record?
I completely agree. I refuse to be horsed for a radiator that probably costs about 20 quid to make. The earlier type one I can have for a decent price. Has anyone had a custom radiator made? I have a local radiator guy round the corner who might be able to make something up - just wondered if anyone...

Re: Is this a record?
I have a radiator in my office matching the part number 4B3121251D (i'm a parts advisor) Does anyone have a picture of a radiator ending in 'E' so that I can compare fitment? My car uses the later expensive radiator, id like to explore the cheaper option before I buy the more expensive one (I grudge...

Re: Lake in front passenger footwell!
Pollen filter housing.
Do a search on it on here. Loads of posts.
Id recommend getting the carpet up asap. My car had about 2-3 inches of water under it. Ruined the comfort module under the passenger footwell - costing me 300 quid in the process.

Re: ABS pump control unit
Theres 3 variations on sorting this problem - First one is to source a 2nd hand unit from a breaker and have it coded - usually about 250 quid + cost of coding Second one is to have your unit attempted to have reconditioned - search the site - don't send to BBA reman, they will claim they don't have...

Re: newbie joining the club!!
^^ Probably less hassle for the seller More than likely - I was coming from Glasgow to Sheffield on the train, I think he may have been p/x'ing it for a Range Rover with the trader. As far as I recall, it seemed a decent enough car on spec. I think I recall speaking to one of the previous owners on...

Re: newbie joining the club!!
Nice car
I had actually agreed to buy that very car last year, pending inspection - only for the seller to change his mind at the very last possible second and sell it to a trade for less than what we had agreed pending inspection.
Allegedly it has around 530bhp and an MTM gearbox remap.
Welcome!

Re: Recommended Wheel Bearing Manufacturer
Lucas is only a brand name that ECP now own. Its a cheap bearing in a branded box.
TBH cheap bearings are ok, they just don't seem to last quite as long as the OE spec ones.
Your choice

Re: Water in rear passenger footwell, RS6 C5
Definitely a rubber bung under the coolant bottle. I knocked it out yesterday. 3x 8mm bolts to remove it and it can be a bit stiff. I would also suggest checking water getting into the pollen filter housing, on my car it looks like the trim panel right at the base of the windscreen is dripping in wa...

Re: Water and the CCM. Anyone coded a new one?
Slight hijack here - my CCM is currently waterlogged. I cant currently open 3 of the doors due to the deadlocks (would be handy to be able to open the passenger door to help the car dry out) Can I manually override the deadlocks or will I have to wait to see if the CCM survives before I can open the...

Various C5 RS6 Parts for sale.
After upgrading intercoolers and removing catalysts, I have decided to sell my spares to try to help other RS6 owners who grudge paying Audi prices. All parts were in working condition when removed from the car and are sold as being 100% working, if a little dirty. I would regard prices as fair and ...
