It's the two lines that run together at the top rear of the OSF wheel arch. I guess they pick up all the road muck and it seems crazy that they're not protected in any way. The tech said it was tight, as they run round the back of the engine, and they weren't sure if they could do it with the engine...

Got the car back from Audi today and one thing the techs said about the corroded lines was that they weren't sure that they were in fact coolant lines and may be air conditioning pipes? That was from the tech that's their resident RS specialist. Any ideas? Photo at the beginning of this thread. Baf...

Cheers. Managed to sort out a deal today. History is good, brakes are recent, oil pressure sensor has been replaced and leaky drc been done recently too. Car appears to have been looked after by previous owner.
