Re: Wanted: 4 x 20” C7 RS6 winter wheels
Hi Rob, I have a set of the original 20" winter wheels and tyres as supplied by Audi. Unfortunately I am having to sell my RS6, so need to get rid of the winter wheels too. Wheels are straight, but 1 has a slight chip in the rim, other than that they are fine. Tyres however are nearing the wear limi...

Re: Roof bar recommendations
Thanks for the replies,
I quite like to look of the slide bars, would save getting filthy accessing the box after the 1500 mile drive! I just need to see if my ancient roof box is compatible with the newer t track fitting method, or if I need a new one of those too!

Roof bar recommendations
Hi there, Have any of you fitted a roof box or bike carrier to your cars, and if so what roof bars did you use? I have an old set of Thule aero bars, but they are a bit battered now, and as I will probably need to fit a box for my upcoming ski trip I thought I would get some new ones. Any suggestion...

Re: Hi I've down sized !!!
Lovely looking car! I may be a bit biased tho as mine is also matte daytona. I've had mine for 2 years and 40k miles now,and the paint is still as new, apart from 3 small stone chips. I've done 4 euro road trips in it,and am off to France again next month snowboarding. Just get shampoo that is for m...

Re: 40k service
Yes, Perth Audi did the work for me. Very good service there, have used them for years so they may have given me slight discount but it wasn't mentioned

Re: 40k service
I just had my 40k service carried out last week. I was quoted £679 for plugs, air filter and all the final drive fluids etc. Had brakes done at the same time tho which bumped the price up a bit!

Brake pads
Hi guys, My car is going to need new pads fitted soon, and I was just wondering if anyone has fitted anything other than the OEM ones from Audi? My current pads seem to create a lot of dust, which really doesn't look good on the wheels, and is a bugger to clean off. Anyone used any others that are l...

Yes, I do have the matrix lights. Wonder if that is a factor?

Re: Akrapovic Vs Milltek exhaust...
Interesting?? http://fourtitude.com/news/Audi_News_1/audi-to-offer-akrapovic-designed-audi-sport-exhaust-system-for-rs-7-performance/ I went to look at Nardo RS6 in Perth Audi a few months ago that had an Akrapovic fitted that had that Audi Sport branding on it. Apparently it had been the Head of A...

Re: Potential issue with coolant hose rupture (Facelift RS6)
Just checked my car after reading this thread, and the clip was only a few mm's in from the edge of the heat shield. There is a mark on the hose where it has rubbed, but thankfully not too bad as yet. As my car is now 18 months old, it would appear that this is not just an issue with FL models. I mu...

Re: Winter Wheels and Tyres
I got a set of genuine Audi wheels and tyres from German eBay for my car after the dealer informed me that Audi no longer do the winter wheel and tyre package for the RS6 in the UK :audibash: They are the 20" winter wheels as supplied by Audi Germany fitted with Dunlop winter tyres. Got them for a t...

Re: RS6 specific silent tyres.
I had a large screw through my near side rear tyre recently, and managed to get it repaired no problem. I have the contisilent tyres fitted at the moment, and the screw was pretty much in the centre of the tread. All the repair guys had to do was peel back the foam, carry out normal puncture repair,...

Re: Snow chains on RS6 C7
Hi there, I have the Thule K Summit chains for mine, also had to get the 20" wheels fitted with winter tyres as the chains can't be fitted to the 21's. Very easy to fit if you have air suspension, just lift it up. Have to say I didn't need them on my trip to the Alps even in heavy fresh snow, but th...

Re: Panther or Daytona?
That Matte Nardo pic looks nice! I've got the Matte Daytona, which was a compromise as my wife wanted Nardo, but I didn't like it and we were on the way to order one in Sepang, but the dealer had a 10 month old Matte car they had just bought back from a customer. We both thought it looked stunning s...

Re: Car coming next week!
Haha, it doesn't fit at all, and even if it did the garage is already occupied by my wife's BMW Z4C. Occasionally the boxster gets in there too tho!
