I've used these with no problems on my early 2003 car and 3.5 yrs later still working.

Re: TPMS MHz
Yes. They have proven to work fine. Occassionally get a warning but its generally when its been a really cold day compared and the pressure has just dipped under whatever the tolerance is. I normally run 3 bar pressure. I got mine from UK Parts Direct, their reference HHS-Audi-RS6-1. https://www.ukp...

I don't, but you may get a wider audience if you post in your own thread rather than this one.

Forthcoming sale of RS6
After 3 1/2 years of RS6 ownership I have decided to sell. I'm going to get a few paintwork blemishes looked at first. RS6 saloon. Mileage is currently 76,000 but will rise. Effectively one family from new - my mother in law bought the car from Audi Norwich (or Robinson's Motor Company as it was bac...

Re: Another MoT pass
No, I didn't. The new tyres are wearing evenly. I ground back the knobbly bit (just in case) and added some very thin wheel spacers to the fronts.

Re: front brake pad recommendations
If you still have old OEM discs, could you measure thickness of the brake disc bell - where wheel bolts through disc to hub?

Re: Brake servo assistance - or lack of it
So far, so good. No error codes. Smooth idle. Still got the brake light to sort out. At some point I've got to look at the door microswitches - but I'm having a weekend off this weekend. My other projects have lapsed - finish fuel injection conversion on Lancia Montecarlo, replace some rotten wood i...

Re: Brake servo assistance - or lack of it
I've removed and reseated the airbox. Agree its a somewhat flawed design as all the physical fixings are at the front, and the important end relies on two rubber seals. Anyway, its improved idle and on the short test drive, seems to have improved drivability - but will wait for a longer test drive l...

I'll pull it off and try again.
The seals looked to be in good shape, but I may get some replacements.

Re: Brake servo assistance - or lack of it
Drove car home and into work this morning. CEL came off during the journey to work. I also logged various things, but not examined the log file yet. Interrogated error codes: 17535 - Fuel Trim; Bank 1 (Mult) P1127 - 002 - System too Rich - Intermittent 17537 - Fuel Trim; Bank 2 (Mult) P1129 - 002 - ...

Re: Brake servo assistance - or lack of it
Recoded key and now they're being recognised. Another test drive. Throttle response at low revs after a stop poor - eg entering a roundabout. Better when gearbox in sport mode. Fine at higher RPM. Wondering which channels to log on VCDS whilst driving to try and work out whats going on. engine speed...

Re: Brake servo assistance - or lack of it
Today. - a/c system seems to have fixed itself. - couldn't see anything wrong with the brake pad warning wiring - plenty of pad material. No visible damage to the wiring. - Ground off the knobbly bits with a battery powered angle grinder, then neatened up with Dremel. - Comfort module is totally dry...
