Ok great, I bought it new so didn’t choose as an option (I can’t recall it being offered but maybe just didn’t look closely enough) but hopefully as you say Audi can just retro-activate.
Thanks very much

Re: Audi smartphone carplay activation
Thanks, that’s great, mine was registered in Nov 16, but as it doesn’t have the phone symbol by the USB slot I’m guessing it was built before the cut off...

Re: Audi smartphone carplay activation
Hi All, I’ve read through this thread and I am confused as to the status of my car. I have a 2016 RS6 Performance, which does not have Apple CarPlay, it also just has two standard USB ports, not with the additional symbol next to one as shown in one of the Photos earlier in thread... Can someone jus...

Re: Buying an RS6 without Dynamic package or Pan roof
For me both are very much individual choice. I have had 2 RS6's, changing a facelift to a performance, neither with pan roof or dynamic pack. I had no problems selling my facelift to a specialist dealer for a good price, and it sold on within a week of them having it. The standard car is more than q...

Re: Best Place to Sell Private
Haha - ok - thanks HYFR - I will try tootle if nothing else.... I did have a quick look, and got the impression I'd be better off waiting to input my details until nearer the time of the sale. As I won't be ready to sell until November, I am assuming I should wait as with most of these things the pr...

Re: Best Place to Sell Private
Thanks again for replies, not able to give up use of car for SOR so thats not an option unfortunately. Still looking at the different options suggested and taking on board the different views on whether trying for a private sale is worth it. The issue of time wasters, and more importantly potential ...

Re: Best Place to Sell Private
Many thanks for replies - I'd never heard of tootle, worth a try, will see if they beat the part ex... eBay is an interesting suggestion, will have a look at that also.... I wasn't sure of the rules on selling on here - but I was thinking of advertising an initial price of £64000 with the inevitable...

Best Place to Sell Private
Hi All, I currently have a standard C7 RS6, but have been tempted by a combination of a good deal and my lack of will power, to upgrade to an RS6 Performance. I have agreed a decent trade in price with the dealer, but am considering advertising privately to see if I can get that few grand more just ...

Re: Sports Exhaust- Black Bezels- Degradation
Hi ABZ - that's very inconsistent as I've had mine replaced under warranty (Listers Group) as have many others according to the forum.... I assume these claims have been approved by Audi UK so perhaps best going to them? On this topic before I had mine changed I asked if anyone who'd had the tips re...

Re: Sports Exhaust- Black Bezels- Degradation
Well tips replaced under warranty - no issues at all. Doesn't seem that anyone who has had them replaced previously have had repeat issues so fingers crossed....

Re: Sports Exhaust- Black Bezels- Degradation
From reading this thread and the similar one and looking at the pictures it would appear to be the black sports exhaust tips that have the issue. I had an RS4 with chrome tips for 5 years which had no issues whatsoever. Would be interesting to hear from anyone that had the black tips replaced under ...

Re: Sports Exhaust- Black Bezels- Degradation
Hi, Noticed my exhaust tips degrading exactly like this after the short bout of cold weather (and salt on roads), and remembered reading this thread a while back. Mine is a 2015 FL model with only 5000 miles. Visited my local dealer who have agreed to replace under warranty, just wondered if those w...

Re: dash cam behind the rear view mirror?
I have also looked into this, but much like Eddie555 says the issues with wiring and positioning have put me off a DIY job, would want all the wiring properly positioned and then hardwired into the electrics. I am surprised this isn't something that the manufacturers have picked up on to build into ...

Re: Paying off Audi Finance very early
Hi, I did the same, but just be aware there is a limit on the amount that you can borrow vs the early pay off. I can't remember exactly but it's around £65000 where you lose the option to pay off early. I got it sorted in the end but just double check and ensure you put down enough deposit to avoid ...
