Re: 140miles in and......
My understanding is that Audi run all RS engines on a bench prior to putting them in the car and normally have a drive in period also by the factory (hence higher mileage). 1000 miles is recommended run in once on the road which is pretty much the same as other high-end engines e.g. AMG. All BMW "M...

Re: It can be done
OK, so I cheated a tiny bit.........I took the pic after a steady 70'ish run over 2 hours on the A1. Everything was in comfort mode (Sports exhaust setting kills the mpg). I was using Shell Optimax, which I've found can make up to 5mpg difference, no cruise control so was able to coast sometimes. N...

Re: DRC v Air
I just thought I'd update this as I took delivery of my car yesterday and have put a few hundred miles on it. The car IS very flat round corners and feels pretty nimble, possibly more nimble (imo) than the M5 which goes against a lot of the reviews I've seen or read. It is, however, quite noticeabl...

Re: Expel paint protection
No experience of Audi paint under now...One thing that I have noticed is the 'rash' as the lower rear doors, I had mine correct there after only 3k miles, I would say on a black car this could be an important area to cover up...BMW paint is awful. Wife's carbon black m50d is going back to have a lo...

Re: 2014 R8 V10
Yes your right, Audi uk said today because the car is 4 wheel drive when going very slow forward or reverse, it will creak and groan , so all is ok. It's not broke.

Re: "grating of steering"
OK Guys Thanks, seems 4 wheel drive has something to do with it also, as all 4 wheels are not alined at very low speeds according to Audi UK.
So it is not broken then,

Re: Oil leak from diff
"Performance":- Hanging out on a BMW Forum might be more appropriate then? Oh, and It is seldom about the money...well not to a true connoisseur! rabies- only done around 3500 miles- had a quick look and no signs of any external leakage on my rear diff. At least it is covered by warranty. Hopefully...

Re: Oil leak from diff
"it will be covered on Warranty" are they for real?. I dumped Audi after buying all there high performers for BMW, never looked back. I found Audi very expensive on service and parts, and cars were not reliable either. Just my 2P. Test drove this RS6 after owning the last one, Bought a M6 Gc Comp Pa...
