Re: RNS-E - fitted Bluetooth now have whine through speakers
You can unplug the amp from the boot, its behind a removable pannel, drivers side, the lead has a red clamp that you need to unclip.

Re: RNS-E - fitted Bluetooth now have whine through speakers
I had this a while ago & it was the amp that was causing the whine, try disconnecting it.
I disconnected mine & was gonna get a new one,but when I reconnected it the whine was gone, but it does come back from time to time.

Re: DRC leak?
Car went in today, turned out to be power steering fluid leaking on to the oil cooler then down to where you see in the picture.
Could of been a lot worse,so happy with that outcome.

Re: DRC leak?
Yeah, its on the undertray, doesn't seem to be very much.
I had the oil cooler pipes replaced 5 months ago,so I guess the likely culprit is the cooler itself then.

Re: Sell or spend?!
Ive owned a TVR T350c with a Tvr power 4l engine & while it looked & sounded like nothing else it was a disappointing & expensive experience, terrible build quality & you'll always be worried it'll go pop,as mine did,2 rebuilds before the odometer saw 20k,one by the previous owner & one by me,never ...

Re: Notchy gear shift/clutch?
Just had my clutch replaced,& im amazed at how light & easy the gear changes are,it was getting notchy beforehand & 1St was sometimes difficult from cold,so id say the clutch was on the way out in the one you drove. What clutch did you go for and who fitted it? It was an oem clutch, fitted by Mrc,my...

Re: Good insurers for mrc stage 2?
That still seems expensive ^ Is ex8 not the best postcode? As far as I know its a good postcode, low crime rate here in Exmouth, im happy with the quote from sky, protected ncb, only £350 excess, all mods covered,my girlfriend has no ncd either.,plus after 30 minutes sorting it out I couldn't be both...

Re: Good insurers for mrc stage 2?
Sorted, went with Sky,took me 30 minutes to get it done but they were only £30 more than my previous insurer. £460 fully comp with a £350 excess, all mrc mods & miltek declared which will be covered as well as the car, which is good. My details for a comparison. Age 42 Girlfriend on policy aged 34 12 y...
