Re: Audi winter wheels fitted
Spacers by the looks of it? And possibly thicker spacers at the rear than the fronts? Different shadows and angle I think. They seem to line up on same place on the arches. I've had some mixed reviews from the guys at work as well, some think they look ok and others can't stand them. I agree they'r...

Re: Audi winter wheels fitted
Thanks Eli. Can I ask you to take one more pic of the whole car side on, just to show the wheels in proportion to all of the car? Will do. tomorrow sometime. Wheels look lost under those arches I do agree but not that much as the wheels are on a different offset. Not as aggressive as the 20" rotors...

Audi winter wheels fitted
I've mentioned previously that I had purchased the Audi 19" winter wheels for the RS4. Well today I got around to fitting them.. (I know... the car needs a wash too) New Wheels Fitted 1.jpg New Wheels Fitted 2.jpg I'm sure they're not quite everyone's taste but personally I don't think they look too...

Re: Tyre pressure monitor
Interesting, the label on mine puts the 20in summer wheels at the same pressure as the winters shown in the picture (rather than the same as the 19in).
I assume it is something to do with equipment level?

Re: words fail me....
Its a double edge sword - WRC style skinny snow wheels are best in the snow, but on the other hand by going *too* skinny you are going to significantly decrease your grip (braking, cornering) on dry tarmac on milder winter days To be honest in the UK I'm not sure it matters - 17s 18s 19s or 20s - y...

Re: words fail me....
Those are the narrower winter wheels, not the standard 19x9 RS5 alloys? Car should go nicely, although looking at the tread pattern, I imagine that tyre is for the right hand side Yep they are the winter wheels rather than the RS5 alloys. And well spotted, it is the RHS tyre (I didn't notice at the...

Re: words fail me....
These could be winters but c'mon 8.5 width & high offset on an RS4 is too thin :bash: hmm suppose I'd better not post the any pictures of mine then when I put the winters on... lol Deliberately dropping to 235s on 19 in rims, but not sure as yet how its going to look. Bought some these...(and I'm p...

Re: Couple of daft questions
Thanks for the responses. I've a couple of things to go try out..
Interesting that the gas pedal is higher in some.. I'm convinced it's lower in mine.
Oh well
Thanks again guys

Couple of daft questions
Ok then I've had the RS4 for a month or so and have generated a couple of daft questions. 1 - How do you prevent the music from automatically coming on each time you start the car? They only way I can stop the music automatically starting (or the radio if I'm on that setting) is to keep the MMI look...

Re: Winter Tyres
Some people think having 4WD makes your car stick to the tarmac in any situation but in reality all it means is better forward grip in poor conditions. Braking and cornering will still be rubbish in cold/wet/ice/snow. I have had winter tyres for the past 3 winters on my WRX STI and I couldn't agree...

Re: Hi all... My first Audi (RS4)
Thanks for the welcome... hmm I think.. Once it stops raining in the rainy county, I'll get some photos... though that's probably 2015 sometime! The problem with the mirror is that it doesn't tilt. I kind of expected it too on a VAG car.. Our EOS does it and i find it helpful when parallel parking.....

Hi all... My first Audi (RS4)
Hi all :bigwave: Thought I'd drop a quick hello to all as I've recently bought my first Audi, a 63 plate RS4 in sepang blue. Had it a few weeks now and loving every minute of it. Having previously owned a 2011 Scooby STI (which convinced me that AWD is the way to go) and a VXR8 (I wanted to go back ...
