Booked in for compression test now. When warm there isn't any smoke and starts on the button. If it helps the car is always on a slope when I start up from cold too.

Just been told that the smoke is black and not white -- sounds crazy to me but he insists it is.

Just FYI - There seems to be some fuel in the oil and when you put your hand where oil cap should go it sucks if it means anything.

18k 90000 miles. Drives like a dream too and only smokes when cold - you'd never have known. He's now saying he's off to Spain for a while!!!

The dealer is 250 miles away and says I given him a bad car, going to send me a bill for all the problems and the last phone call he said the F word about 25 times in a couple of minutes and seems like a pyscho. So not sure what to do

Ha - that is his problem not yours. That amount oil oil is quite substantial. The smoke - is it quite significant or a constant whiff?
