Re: C6 suspension options

Some stickier tyres might be enough, maybe not something as extreme as 888 but AD08R or similar?

XR56 PWR

This plate was on my rs6 when I bought it, not really my cup of tea so if anyone would like it it's theirs for £50 plus fees...

Re: Gearbox service

I spoke to my local audi garage and they said they don't do gearbox oil changes! I do have a local mechanic who I would trust with anything, he really specialises in subaru/Evo and builds/runs rally cars but also maintains a number of porsche/lotus/GTR's etc. I'd be happy for him to do the job but h...

Re: Sorry but what do I want in an RS6?

Alcantara is a big bonus for me. Leather is hot in summer, cold in winter and slippy in the twisty stuff.

Does anyone have a link to the job card / procedure for this?

Re: Identify the sticker on the boot of this C6...

Why don't you think it'll hit 211?

I seem to recall a 700bhp rs6 managing 209 at Vmax or a similar event.

Re: resonated or non-resontated

I have a resonated system on mine and prefer it personally. Sounds great when you give it some beans and simply put the windows down when you want full effect; the upshot for me is that the exhaust sounds pretty such stock (from the inside) when on the motorway. The resonated Milltek was one of the...

Re: Valved Exhaust

Thanks for the replies, cheers. I actually didn't realise the MTM system was valves, that explains the price!!!

Is the car still nice and quiet at an 80-ish cruise with the baffles removed?

Cheers

Valved Exhaust

Does anyone know of any manufacturers of valved exhausts for the rs6? Something that will be nice and quiet at cruising speed /low revs but a bit more sonorous higher up the rev range? I haven't heard a Milltek car but have heard plenty of anecdotal evidence about motorway drone - I definitely want ...

Re: C6 Rs6 with MRC Stage 2

Yes I was pleased with the deal. I know Brian pretty well and traded in a Subaru Outback I'd bought from him a year ago.

It's a hell of a car for the money!

Re: Newbie

Thanks a lot. I've never driven a car with 700vhp before but I do have an Impreza p1 with similar PWR (450bhp, 1250kg). They feel similar to 100, the Subaru possibly slightly quicker but much harder to launch cleanly. Above 100 I would say the RS6 feels a lot faster though It really disguises it's s...

BBS CH / CH-R

Considering a second set of wheels for winters, has anyone fitted BBS CH or CH-R? If so, care to share a picture?

Cheers!
