Re: RS4 to MK7 Golf R

I went from my Supercharged RS4 to a standard golf R. Reasons such as I was about to buy my first house, girlfriend had and old fiesta so needed something a bit more reliable and safer to drive to work etc it seemed like the sensible choice. By all means I am not knocking the R at all but after doin...

Re: My TTS Charged RS4 for sale

All comes down to (without sounding like a <beep>) getting bored of the power. I genuinely either want to go back to something totally different or even more powerful. As said before I am seriously weighing up what an R8 V10 sounds like to me

Re: What are you lots paying for your insurance?

Postcode ratings are generally what mess good people up in my experience. I have only ever lived in an A or B so I have enjoyed beneficial savings all my life. In terms of a 350BHP Williams Clio turbo I was paying around £1200 at 20-21 years old. Compare that to Some of you guys much much older with...

Re: My TTS Charged RS4 for sale

Chap put a deposit down on Wednesday last week and is coming today to collect. Have realised thoroughly over the weekend how much I will miss this car! As an end note before I go forth onto 'new' cars etc... anyone who wants potentially the most impressive allround car that entertains so many charac...

Re: Looking for Daytona V10

Was the comment about finance more to do with the fact that most companies will not lend on a car unless it is less than 8 years old at the end of the term. So you could only get a 2 year loan on an 09 car now. Sorry Mike I minced my words there... what I meant the trouble with NOT using a PCP and ...

Re: Looking for Daytona V10

You can still get a finance with a balloon on an older car. You need to change your broker. PCP are limited to 5yrs, but Lease purchase with balloon is possible Speak to Oracle. Yes you missed out on mine. Sold fookin cheap, you'd still have £10k in your pocket if you bought mine Colour doesn't imp...

Looking for Daytona V10

Hi lads, My TTS RS4 should be getting collected later so have been perusing for V10s. I dont think I could go from a charged B7 to a standard V8 tbh. Asking for a bit of potentially unusual advice here really. I love the Daytona and there don't seem to be many on the sales sites right now... however...

Re: My TTS Charged RS4 for sale

I thought about putting back to stock and selling the parts on but my realistic thoughts were this... Standard B7 RS4 trade = £15/16k Milltek Exhaust non res with valves... £750-1000 Decats - £150 200 cell cats - £750? Used Charger £4k? Think you would struggle to sell them all individually for the ...
