Tyre recommendation please
Dear All Have got Dunlop Sportmaxx GT Sportmax 275/35 ZR20 (102Y) RO1 on car at the moment but Dunlop now only make the winter variant of this. What else was put on our cars at the time when new? I see people recommending Pirelli PZero and Bridgestone Potenza? Michelin Pilot Sports don't seem to com...

Tyres: Dunlop Sportsmaxx GT 275/35ZR20 (102Y) R01
Dear All Hope all safe and well. I have punctured the sidewall of one of the above and trying to source so matches the other 3 tyres but not having much luck. I am being told that Dunlop stopped making this tyre this year. Is this what others have experienced? Anyone got any good leads to find this ...

Roof bars/rack
Dear All I apologise if this has been already posted elsewhere but I am finding it difficult to work out precisely which Thule or other roof rack system is the best for the C6. Could those who use a roof rack successfully point me to the precise product that works as the Thule website as an example ...

Re: Engine out: oil leak
Thank you all for your thoughtful input which concludes that if I was starting from scratch I should be taking the car to MRC. I feel compromised as Audi have my car which is booked in for full service (not sure if this has been done as part of the diagnostics work), they have given me a courtesy ca...

Re: Engine out: oil leak
West London Audi tell me that they suspect the leak to be from the shaft that goes into the power steering pump hence the need to remove the engine for access.

Engine out: oil leak
Dear All New Year surprise, car in at West London Audi for full service (approx. 45k miles done) and been told have identified oil leak requiring engine to come out for further diagnostics though likely oil seals, £6,500 for approx. 35 hours work plus small cost of replacing seals. This is of course...

Re: Tyre choice?
Audi Camberley kindly re-ordered the correct R01 tyres and replaced the J version they had incorrectly fitted. As others have said before, I would recommend these guys - more expensive than independents but very professional and good service. Ask for Kayleigh O'Rriordan who will look after you. Best...

Re: Tyre choice?
It would not be such a pain if I had not specified my choice as the RO1 version, which I concluded on to stick to the stock OE spec and if the J on the side wall was not so large! - almost looks like a different model tyre and of course does not match the one tyre that I had kept on the car as only ...

Re: Tyre choice?
Just picked up car from Audi Camberley with new set of Dunlop GT Sportmaxx 275/35/ZR20/102Y R01s. Or so I thought. I have looked at the sidewalks now I am home and see they say GT Sportmaxx J on them. Quick Google says the J designation is for Jaguars not Audi!! I assume this is an issue and Camberl...

Re: Tyre choice?
Despite the big thumbs up for the Michelin, I think I will go with the "R01"" check to stick with what was intended so that leaves the Dunlops vs the Pirellis...the Dunlops give zero rim protection, not clear if Pirellis any help in this respect. Thanks all for helpful input

Re: Tyre choice?
I just spoke to Audi re. the Contis and whilst they are listed as an option on their website they don't come with the Audi specific tested R01 number as the Pirelli and Dunlops do...not ideal?

Re: Tyre choice?
