Re: Potential New Owner
Enjoy the car as the man said. Life too short to worry about fuel economy. I get 22 to 25 dependent on weight of right foot at the time and traffic

Re: Living with an RS4 - comments please
My RS4 runs on 20 inch wheels. In Dynamic mode it rattles your teeth on all bar glass smooth roads. In Auto mode it's a perfectly fine ride given the nature of the car and the profile of the tyres. Much better than the wife's Mini JCW with run flats that make driving over a matchstick feel like a tr...

Re: Tyre Sizes
As per the previous respondent...why do you need fatter tyres...how much grip do you need on a UK road......beyond that which you already have.......

Re: B8 RS4 or SQ5 (stop me buying the latter!!)
I had a B8 S4 from new March 2012 for two years before a tree fell on it :boohoo: Nice car, unassuming to look at unless you know the tell tale signs, but quick and always had lots of compliments from passers by, lots liked the magma and black seats and the overall look. Would still have but for the...

Holes in the Brake Discs
Dumb question. But should all the circles on the brake discs be holes? Looking at mine, some appear not to be. Just happened to notice as was cleaning brake dust etc off wheels.

Re: DRC Suspension Issue
I had an intermittent suspension warning light that became permanent. Car was taken in and as driven into service area by reception guy he commented that it appeared to be knocking, I presumably had got used to it. End game, they replaced the off side front suspension unit and sensors, adjusted trac...

Re: Off centre steering?
Gentlemen. Not slack, just learnt over many years to determine when things are important to me and when they are not. I can be as anal as the next person about my cars but I have decided that there are times when it needs to be kept in perspective......when you boil it all down it's just a means to ...

Re: Off centre steering?
Andy S....my point was that if it's not affecting the driving then why worry. You feel it is affecting the balance/feel of the steering in that it is heavier one side or the other. If that is so then I would agree that it should be looked at. In my case the car is performing perfectly with no sensat...

Re: Off centre steering?
I think you are getting wound up about nothing Does the car tramline? Does it stay straight irrespective of where the steering wheel is? If the answers are positive - what the ***k are you worried about? Just drive and enjoy the car and get a life :blackrs4: :jump: Life is far to short to worry abou...

Re: Off centre steering?
I had an S4 with the same marginal non centred issue. ran it from new with zero issues and got 17k out of front tyres before I decided to swap them out but could have gone on to 20k easily and remained legal. I now have a new RS4 with the same marginal non centred issue. Neither car veered when in s...
