Re: Newbie looking to buy - what do you think of this?
Prob going to need a fair bit spent maintenence eg clutch etc, I bought mine at 80k with all the big jobs done, the previous owner spent a fortune between the 70 and 80k mile point, so def too much money at that price,

Re: Mileage
As the guys have said don't be worried too much about milage it's more about the maintenance history, mine has just turned 84k I bought it at 80k with all the big jobs having been done by previous owner, coilovers, clutch, oilcooler brakes etc which were all done between roughly 65 and 75k, On the S...

Re: 2nd Hand prices
Condition and history is the key factor, 14.5 to 15k is about right if the car is in good condition, have seen a few cat d write offs make decent money

Re: Possibly selling - whats it worth?
I would agree with the guys at 17k plus, I paid just over 17k for mine which was a decent price, there are loads of cat d motors about at 14k to 15k on ebay etc which is making people price down non cat motors

Re: RS246 Scotland Drive
Just the noise that is lacking in the type r!between you and Brian me wanting a V8 again increased massively and it was already substantial. Was really good to see the B8s up close and personal as that was 1st proper look I have had at them. I hadn't realised you had sport contact 5s I have the spo...

Re: RS246 Scotland Drive
It was a great day out and will need to be done again soon! Thanks for organising it all Dave and a pleasure to meet so many petrolheads.
