I just saw your old car driving around Hove, looks like it might have a new owner already!

Yes it’s come to that time. The big 6 is going. Thanks for all the help and advice from many of you👍 I’ll be moving way up the discussion forum right up to RS3 so not totally leaving. Re: Taking RS6 to continent this summer
I have done it a couple of times, all the technology makes it easy.
Make sure you have all the stuff for driving in France - breathalyzer, day glow jackets, etc. You can buy a kit on Amazon for 20 quid, but they are happy to give you a hefty fine if you forget!

Re: Service Intervals
The thing that confuses me the most is that in Aug 17 at 12k miles (so only 8k and 7 months ago) I had an oil change, inspection and major service.
How can the inductors get so out of whack in that time? The mileage and time measures are the opposite way round on each indicator...

Service Intervals
How does the car come up with this on after 20k miles?
Had an oil change and service last Aug, so it all seems a bit odd!- Thu Jan 11, 2018 10:41 pm

Doesn't a new battery need to be coded for some reason?

Re: Brake Pad Decisions
I think it just wasn't bled properly Mark. Poor workmanship rather than a reflection of poor brake pads. It probably didn't help that I was driving my wife's RS3 and her brake pedal makes my RS4 and RS6 feel like they have a spongey pedal at the best of times (think they over-servo them as it alway...

Re: Black Exhaust Tips...
20170929_105557_HDR.jpg Just had my tips swapped out by Audi Brighton under warranty due to corrosion. It looks like they have changed the design - gone are the black ceramic coated tips to be replaced by a shiny black painted one. Obviously they decided that it wasn't working, but preferred the ol...

Re: Bad day
It’s too early to make any decisions yet as it was actually going back to Audi today to have the geometry re done and a proper valet. You are brave letting Brighton Audi valet your car, I once had some money off them after they ruined my ceramic coating with what could only have been scouring pads ...

Re: Squeaking brakes
Very common most of this is caused by not using the brakes hard enough My 13 plate RS4 has 26k on original steel disks 2nd set of pads I occasionally get a squeal a low speeds but only after a long motorway run or a lot of stop start driving This is solved by taking the car on a quite road a stampi...
