Re: DRC failing symptoms (no oil leak)

Good shout mongo, yes there is some oil stains under the car around the left sill area. Pretty hard to determine where from the the engine bay and gearbox are dry. So it does sound like the line from rear right to front left is leaking.

DRC failing symptoms (no oil leak)

I have searched but it's very hard to actually get a definitive list (apart from oil leaking) what the failure feels/sounds like? Re: Top speed

Glad you call my graphs pretty. :bigblink: Without wishing to start an internet argument or sound like a total pr*ck that isn't how you calculated the force required to push an object up a slope. We are only talking top speed here which means the engine power has to effectively a small component of ...

Of course you're correct, but you can see air temperature and road gradient have very little effect on top speed. Drag is king.

Re: Top speed

You'll need 375 bhp at the wheels for 190 mph.

Cheers guys, DRC is original as far as I'm aware. Nothing flagged up at the service.

Sorry to resurrect this old thread, but what was the solution? MAF or lambda?

How do you mean?

The car was mapped a long time ago, and the issue has only just started.

Re: told these fault codes are due to using RON 95 sometimes

So I only have the engine too rich off idle code, after clearing it I can get around 70 miles before it comes on again. I have run a "flap" test and all seems well. I have no airbox flap due to cold air feed and I can see the inlet flaps moving nicely. I did some logging of inlet flap demand and pos...
