Re: Poor performance?!
Not wishing to play the 'don't dis a Golf R card', these cars really shouldn't be underestimated. Mine although only Stage 2 (with hardware) so pushing out about 410bhp, will comfortably & repeatably hit 0-60 in 3.2/3secs & although it will start to run out of puff once well over 100 & a C7 RS6 wou...

Re: Warped Front Discs after 6000 miles and less than a year
I am always surprised by these instances as I am on 42k miles on the original pads and discs. Mine went through a period of slight judder around 10k but I used the brakes for the next few hundred miles as though I was running in a new set of pads and the judder cleared. Its really harded to believe ...

Re: Another question on tyres
Anyone know a good tyre fitter for the Solihull or Banbury areas? Even better if it's a quality Mobile Fitter?

Re: RS6 C8
I'm dropping from an average 25k miles per year to probably 6-8k miles next year and from City to rural living and I have spent months considering whether the RS6 makes sense in my new world (lots a quality rural, twisty roads), but as many of you are saying what's an alternative? I have considered ...

Re: Big turbos anyone?
They won't make any difference to the wandering steering and back squatting down/front lightening up when on any sort of power. Three different good alignments, MRC's experience with her and two different sets of tyres tell me that. Once I am back on summer tyres, they will be the 4s and we can at ...

Re: Manual or ‘S’ mode
I struggle to drive an auto in manual mode because I get too lazy and don't concentrate on gear changes like I would have to in a manual car so it pretty much stays in auto all the time. However, I find the best driving mode for me is to have it in Dynamic and use the gear lever to toggle between D...

Re: 3 months on..
If I could change one thing it would be absolutely steering feel/accuracy. I find this big beast quite a challenge to position exactly where I want it on a spirited/twisty drive... apart from that totally agree it is an outstanding all-rounder

22k miles on 2017 PE, 5- years warranty - not used it yet, only servicing needs with a Dealer and I do about 600m each week.

Re: Brake Pedal Drop?
I had exactly the same last Sunday, road was wet, I was already lightly braking when the pedal dropped an inch, my instinct was lift off and reapply, so it all happened within a few seconds, and pedal was normal again and has remained normal ever since? Very strange experience in such a heavy fast c...

Re: Is the C7 RS6 just too big?
Loads of different opinions but I’ve just gone from my third RS6 down to an RS3. Looked at the 4 but don’t like the latest styling. Mainly down to a massive life change but will give the 3 a good go over the coming months and see how I feel with the much smaller car👍 please post your findings, I wi...

Re: Is the C7 RS6 just too big?
she came on Dunlops Mike, rubbish as we all know, swapped to MPSP and that did improve handling, then had two punctures on potholes and couldn't get MPSP as was in deep Devon at the time, so had to have Conti's. As soon as Conti's wear i'll go back to MPSP unless I can get 4S' by then. Off topic, b...
