Misfire under full throttle
Hello,
I'm getting a misfire, noticeably in 6th gear when the revs get to around 3500 when peddle is right down! It's not a constant, there's no rethumn to it.
Any ideas? No warning lights on.
Thanks
Andy

Re: Second car lucky!!
Hello guys, thanks for the reply's! I use V power shell fuel I'm not aware of it ever having a carbon clean, is it abit like plaque around teeth? but around the valves? Doesn't sound serious then anyway! It had plugs 6k ago at 60k I was wondering if it could be the flaps in the manifold? Perhaps at ...

Second car lucky!!
Recently traded my previous phantom black saloon... which blew up on my driveway on start-up (when cranking over) as a chain broke :audibash: , this happened when I moved it closer to the house to hoover it out ready to trade-in, this was a bad day... had a tear in my eye! especially as I'd already ...

Re: Lumpy idle, camshaft timing out
Hi all,
Yeah it was the cam timing control solenoid, but more bad news- I now get a very louch chain rattle on every startup that lasts for about 3-4 mins, I hold the revs up at 3-4k where the rattle disapears for this time, then its ok, but the chain system needs replacing

Lumpy idle, camshaft timing out
Hi all, My motor suddenly developed very lumpy idling, the car was shaking violently. Took it to a AudiVw specialist today.. They red the fault codes, and said that the cam timing is out, The guy said he is hoping its the solenoid that controls the variable valve timing that mybe the problem? I real...
