Got PS4s on and done 40,000 kms - still with about 10,000 kms left on them, but got a screw in one so full set replacement now … same same
So, got great life out of them but that’s 1 year of driving with lots of country kms. Wouldn’t go to anything else - had the same on the RS4 before

Re: Anyone on here running Vossen Wheels (HF-2, HF-5, HF-7 ideally)?
Oh yeh … the stock wheels and tyres weigh a tonne in comparison … bloody hard to throw around to put into storage. it’s no wonder the new RS6 Performance version goes harder as it doesn’t have boat anchors on each axle
And the Forgelines show off the ceramics much better

I prefer the H5 out of those, however on your blue, these could look superb: https://flic.kr/p/2kYisBs With more wheels there too, including some slick bronze H5’s I ended up with those silver Forgeline wheels, but it’s on my white car … so different look Here: https://www.audizine.com/forum/showthr...

Re: At risk of starting another tyre debate
The missus has got a small merc and with Contis she’d get the same same chatter as johnnydog also backing out the driveway on steering lots of lock. New PS4s cured that.

Pilot Sport 4S … all day, every day
Did about 240,000kms of my 290,000kms on my B8 with them
Now got them on the RS6 … still the best

Re: Brand new Audi RS6 C8 (2023) Sport Differential Fault - DAY 1
Definitely unlucky I was doing some rural driving, only 80km/hr at that stage, one car directly in front of me (about 4 to 6 car lengths ahead) and a slow dirt truck about 5 - 7 car lengths in front of that car. A stone or lump of dirt about 30mm square flicked up off the back of the truck. I saw it...

Re: Walnut blasting inlet trajectory
I’ve done about 290,000kms and replaced the inlet manifold plus did walnut blasting probably around 180,000 kms. Mine is a 2014 build, which I’ve had from new. That sharpened up the response minutely, however I was really searching for the positive uplift. I have replaced the DRC at around 220,000km...

Re: RS6 performance
Sounds promising. Aside from options and how it’s being specced is there any indications of main improvements eg same kW as a Urus or facelift or must have ceramic brakes etc ?? Also, any idea of first build date and whether other markets (eg Australia) are next in line? I’m certainly envious of bei...

Re: Dampers DRS
That’s certainly a sad thing, although lots seem to have had issues with DRC. So feel for you. Did they say why it needs multiple regas? I’m one of the fortunate ones. No problems until I figured at 7 years and 240,000kms it was getting tired so replaced the lot with factory DRC as original. Totally...

Re: Service Booklet Part Number
Agreed Audi should have the whole service history in their system. My dealer can tell me everything. I still have my July 2014 RS4 (from new) and it came new with the Audi Australia “Audi Service Schedule - Australia” (words on front cover) booklet - A5 size On the back cover it says PN: ASAA2011A D...

Re: Screen display issues
In my RS4 (B8) there’s a 3 button press all at the same time, method to reboot the system, that resets and clears random computer derived stuff. Although evidently turning the MMI off and leaving it off for minimum 15 minutes does the same thing … Not sure what the reboot sequence is for the RS6 (if...

With RS6 on order and not knowing when “performance” version is due am thinking Eventuri intake for a few more horses plus bling.
My thoughts are that it’s primarily bling and zero effect on warranty. Anyone know different or can confirm?
Certainly looks the ducks

Was that a USA only feature?
Thought I remember hearing something like that, but can’t be sure.

Catalytic Convertor Replacement
From what I've “deduced”, to replace the cats it’s an engine out job as they are tucked up right next to and effectively part of the manifolds. Or … is there an easier fix?
275,000 kms and the engine light is permanent “on” due to the cats.
Otherwise … drives like new

Thanks Michael
Same here, with ordering, and dealer has no real time line - he just nodded when I asked “10-12 months”. I have mentally hoped for 10 months, so around March. January would be a bonus and December would be a great Christmas present … to myself!
