Re: New model.....
I'm getting déjà vu from another thread about this but basically if the previous generation is anything to go by - the A6 C7 launched early 2011, the RS6 variant was on the early purchaser's drives during the summer of 2013 some 2.5 years later (it was revealed in December 2012). On that basis we ar...

Fishing wire is a great way to remove stuck on number plates and badges without damaging anything.

Re: C8 to get 700hp 'Hybrid' option
Ahem.. Wasn't it much earlier than that with the C7? I know a larger release gap used to be the case with RS's, but something's telling me that changed with the C7? From what I understand the C7 was launched in early 2011 and the RS was announced late 2012 but released early to mid 2013... although ...

Re: Bad day
Popped back today. They have done 40miles since the new engine. As for the steering they suggested wait a few hundred miles until everything has settled back down then come back and have it re done👍. If it's more than a few degrees out I would insist they have a go now and then do it again, if need...

Re: New plate
Feedback is good, that's what these forums are for, but presented in the right way. I actually was thinking the same, it looks to bunched and I'm not entirely happy with it. However having had many cars and been on many forums never have I seen so many idiots in the way they present their feedback!...

Re: Can any exhaust 'installer' install a Milltek
Easy enough job. Did mine myself took about 3 hours. Just make sure they don't try the "oh we need to lower the subframe" one. No need to touch anything. One nut per side is tricky to get at but far from impossible Thanks but struggling with the 'easy enough' and '3 hours' in the same sentence! :ju...

Re: RS6 Upgrade
Glad you get some information, I think that there is no such thing that audi can't see that something has bred done to ecu, either with ecu remap or piggyback they can see everything. If you want to be safe don't do ecu remap and stay stock, I think 560 hp is more than enough, by the way pe version...

Re: Bad day
Well Friday will just pass car less 😫😫 just popped in to check progress and new engine still sat on the table. Turns out another car has been in over 3months with a misfire problem and the super techs as Audi moon base are dialling into the computer with the tech that should be working on my car.. ...

Re: Active Noise Cancellation
Whilst I've heard of noise cancellation I had absolutely no idea it was used in cars. Feel like I've been living under a rock and missed this thing that the world seems to already know about! Similar thing happened at the beginning of the week with a comment about air wedges. WTF is a bloody...

Re: spark plugs
The PE uses different spark plugs to the non PE. Also all RS6 suffer from high misfires although most of the time it goes unnoticed. I thought Audi change the spark plugs as a cure. I assumed they were rolling out the PE plugs to the non-PEs becuase of this but maybe it's not the case, maybe they a...
