Insurance cost increase for remapped cars ?

Still on the hunt for the right car ! More often than not I'm finding cars with the right spec that I want but they have a stage 2 remap on them which I was told make quite a jump in insurance cost. I'm not bothered about it being remapped but don't want to pay inflated insurance costs for the sake ...

Re: Anyone know of or owned this car ?

Looked at this car today and it looked fantastic but the trader selling it was a bit sketchy and put me right off so walked away !
Wouldn't let me test drive it and couldn't answer most of my concerns about it

Anyone know of or owned this car ?

Nardo grey RS6 CURRENT reg no BV15BFO ? It's currently up for sale and want to go and view it but was a little put off when the seller said it's had 5 owners. Is this normal on a RS6 for people not to keep them long ? It apparently has full audi service ! It seems this car has had a few different pr...

Re: Is now the wrong time to buy a RS6 ?

Your right Golfather ! The problem is prices are silly at the mo and to get a performance model for that money means a high mileage or very low spec. Also I want full leather and most PE models I find in the right spec have alcantera seats. When the righ car comes up I will buy it but I'm not in a r...

Is now the wrong time to buy a RS6 ?

I have found a RS6 for sale at a used car sales place with most of the options I want on a 15 plate for £52k. It's a bit older than I would of liked but finding a car with all I want extras wise is proving impossible so decided a slightly older car with the right bits could be the way to go. I keyed...

Re: Standard or performance model ?

After making a profit on my svr after 2 years of ownership I'm thinking maybe wait for the used car market to get back to normal before buying a RS6 as some seem to be priced at 5-10k more than they were when I looked 12months ago. Don't want to buy something and loose £10k as otherwise I could of j...

Re: Standard or performance model ?

I don't think anything standard will be as loud as my svr was. Mine was the last of the loud ones before they started fitting the OPF. I think most of my neighbors were glade to see the back of that car Lol.

Re: Standard or performance model ?

I've been looking through loads of adverts and it seems the standard cars seem to have many more options fitted when ordered than the PE models. I love the PE wheels but am now struggling to see why so many say to buy the PE model if you can find one. I've also noticed a massive difference in prices...

Standard or performance model ?

Other than a bit more power what does the performance model give you over the standard model ? Every time I find a performance model with the spec I would want it has the blue stitched half leather which I don't want. I know it seems very popular with people but I like full leather. Also what are mu...

Re: Anyone gone from a Range Rover svr to a RS6 ?

My SVR was a late 17 plate car, Last of the loud versions before the OPF silenced them, so had the updated 10 inch screen with factory Apple CarPlay rather than the twin touch screens.

Anyone gone from a Range Rover svr to a RS6 ?

Just sold my SVR after nearly 2 years of ownership as was offered more than I paid for it. Always loved the look of the RS6 and nearly bought one twice now. Question, does the tech i.e. Sat nav and bits seem dated and is there any updates that can be done ? I know the c8 is not far off what I had in...

Standard or performance model

Hi all, just looking at changing my car and really want an RS6 but wanted to know what the difference is between a standard model and performance model apart from a bit more power and the wheels.
What do I get from a performance model for the extra cash over the standard model.

Re: New PE Ordered - Recommendations for Detailer

Hi all - Ordered a new PE on Friday, Askari Blue with a couple of extras. :jump_clap: Should arrive around mid March (was already in the system and spec changeable) I know I have a while to wait but can anyone recommend a decent detailing company near Cambridge? I'm keen to have the paintwork prote...
