I had to renew my clutch and flywheel at 42k. But I suppose depends on how it has been driven.

Re: Sell or Spend the money???
Hi Jaysrs4,
Not alot at all, prob like 3k a year.
Yeah decided to keep it, sorting clutch next week, then new discs and pads after my road trip.
DRC will just be keeping an eye on it, as the rest of the car is standard do not plan on going down the coil over route.

Re: Build quality!
Yeah good point, i recall a guy I know dad's used to do that. I am not sure if they are just not puting the R&D work in or if they are being built deliberately with a limited shelf life. I suspect the later is the case.

If that is as nice in person, it looks absolutely immaculate. Good luck with the sale.

Build quality!
So is it just me, or does everyone think that Audi build quality peaked, mid-late 90's?
Based on the Audi's I have owned, the three my dad has owned and the two my brother currently owns I feel that after 99 they have just gone down hill??
Appologies if this starts any arguments.

Re: Rear shock gone, options.?
Yip, me too. I replaced the whole lot last year; all 4 corners plus the pipes. Biggest cost was labour on the pipe fitting because half the car has to get hauled apart to gain access. Turns out it was as well I did because the pipes were well shot and it would only have been a matter of time before ...

Both Aux radiators replaced July ...
