I didn't have to but by the time I needed a service on the 1 year mark, the oil level on the MMI was halfway down.

Covkiller, is your car stock or with KV coilovers? If it is stock does it come with sports suspension and DRC, or just the suspension without DRC?

Bought another used car recently and have been busy verifying and restoring stuff. That got me to thinking about the RS4. I know the actual number because I have the registered papers but just wondering where it is.

Past experience with various cars tells me car owners on forums are usually the fastest for information access.

How do we check the engine oil level physically? I know we can use the MMI to check but let's just say I would like to do it the old fashion way. Assuming the access is easy, does it have a dipstick? How do we located the engine number on our car? Is it an engine out operation?

You might also render the memory seat function on your driver's door handle useless if you have the sports seat originally and subsequently install the bucket seats later on. I think it would bug me endlessly.
