German turbos all good! Been sent for a refurb but hopefully the end is in sight and will have car back soon. Pre cats removed whilst engine out so hopefully it will be plenty fast when finally get it back. And saved around £5k on price of new turbos

Thanks for the heads up on the German ebay turbos. They are currently winging their way to MRC - fingers crossed they are in working order!

Car has 29k miles and was previously standard. MRC said compressor wheel was due to a foreign object in the intake but were less clear on what could have caused the damage to both turbos on the exhaust side.

Not upgradeable as exhaust side is damaged also and parts to repair not available (original proposal was to upgrade both as compressor wheel damaged on one).

Am relatively new to RS6 ownership and would appreciate some advice. I had this issue - eventually got it to work using an adaptor with a short lead (see below).
