Re: What oil should I get? B7

Thanks, I already put in an order for 5W40. Maybe I will get them to change it to the lifelong oil instead perhaps?

What oil should I get? B7

Hi there I was just wondering what is the best oil to get for my S4 B7. When I brought it 7 months ago it was put on the longlife oil but I drive it every day and my oil is low so want to replace it with a more robust oil rather than the longlife oil. Also is the standard oil filter okay to use or d...

Re: The plastic splitter/spoiler under bumper /S4/B7

Hmmmmmmmmmmm lovely :) Is it a direct fit? Does any adjustments need to be made? Used to be cheaper, but now you can pick them up from a Seat dealer for circa £45. 1. Jacked the front of the car up. 2. Cut the lugs off the splitter and trimmed the centre legs down a few mm to fit to the shape of th...

I have not really looked into it, just did a quick search on images. Looks a bit low. Does that not get ripped to pieces by the random height speed humps that plague London?

Re: The plastic splitter/spoiler under bumper /S4/B7

That translates into mega expense?

Yes the scrapped bumper isn't even visible unless under the car, would not even know its there unless you felt it. Absolutely no big deal.

Re: The plastic splitter/spoiler under bumper /S4/B7

Hopefully it wont be too much of a rape :), not happy about scraping the bottom side of my bumper though. Even though you cannot see it, I know its there!

Yet another thing I will have to sort out :|

Re: The plastic splitter/spoiler under bumper /S4/B7

Thanks mate, so its just a matter of going to the stealers and looking and selecting the part from the cross section catalog they have?
As I do not have the part number or even find it online anywhere!!

Re: The plastic splitter/spoiler under bumper /S4/B7

Image
This side is the drivers side without the 'plastic guard'. You can also see the screws where it would fit.

Image
This is the passengers side which still has it attached.

Any help?

Cheers

The plastic splitter/spoiler under bumper /S4/B7

Hi there. Went over a speed hump bit too fast and appeared to scrape under the bumper(scraped under the bumper but no one can see it thankfully), so I pulled up and noticed one of my plastic spoilers under the bonnet gone. It appears to just bit a straight screw on job but I cannot for the life of m...
