Also forgot that I have a Thule Wingbar Edge kit which I can potentially throw into the deal if someone was interested.

SOLD - 2014 RS6 Daytona Grey - £59,950 - SOLD
The time has come for me to say goodbye to my RS6 in favour of a more sensible family SUV (the new XC90) - a dark day indeed but nothing lasts forever! I originally bought this car from Perth Audi back in January 2014 (pics of it arriving from Germany: http://forum.rs246.com/viewtopic.php?f=76&t=107...

Re: C7 PCP
Yes. There is £7k margin on those cars. If you trade it in, bend over I'd completely agree with that - I have a Daytona from Jan 2014 (was around £89k before discount when new, so reasonably specced) with 21k miles on the clock (which I appreciate is a fair amount but it is our daily family car!) a...

Re: Bike carriers / roof boxes
Quick update on this thread - it's not the best pic but gives a decent idea of how it looks. I ended up getting a Thule Motion 800 with Thule Wingbar Edge bars. Originally I was going to go for a black one but Halfords were selling this grey one online for £200 instead of £439 so it was a no-brainer...

Bike carriers / roof boxes
Hey all - want to know if anyone has fitted either of the above to their RS6 as I might need to do something in the summer for a family holiday with lots of crap to take - so any recommendations would be great. I've got no packs such as carbon applied to my Car and I don't have a tow bar either (but...

Surrey Tyre Fitters
Anyone recommend tyre fitting companies in the north west Surrey area near Esher/Kingston (happy to travel 30mins)? I usually use wheels in motion in Amersham but they're quoting me a big number for my new tyres so I was going to source them myself and just get them fitted instead this time - and th...

Re: My second B8 S4
It should be a case of slowly just opening the door when the key is nearby - at least that's how it works on my previous S4 and the RS6. Then for closing you just brush the little pad on the door handles.fcuk1_6 wrote:Turns out you may be right, I've emailed used car manager for clarification.

Re: Tyre experiences
Yeah - both the dunlop (noise shield technology) and contis (contisilent) also have the same technology with the foam inside the tyre wall, so they should all offer similar reductions in cabin tyre noise.

Tyre experiences
Hi all, About to replace my tyres again and wanted to find out people's experiences with tyre choices thus far. I've been running Pirellis but considering a change potentially to the dunlop or conti options to see how they compare (as I've not had great traction experiences from the Pirellis on occa...

Re: Pad/disk replacement
Mine has also just had its first service (18K miles) at Wimbledon Audi and not a mention of it needing pads. When my C5 or C6 needed pads, the dealers I have used always suggested I change the disks at the same time. I always declined and only replaced the disks or pads when the brake ware warning ...

Pad/disk replacement
Hey all - I had my first minor service and oil change (I've done 13.5k miles so far) last week at Jack Barclay in Wandsworth, who provided a great overall service. One thing that came up as needing attention soon (aside from more tyres again!) were my front pads, which were listed as being 65% worn....
